Shadow of the Beast on my Amiga 500. I was 3 years old at the time. Probably explains my screwed up mentality.

I believe that was the first game I had as well... Or maybe it was Space Invaders or Asteroids.

More recent was Mike Tyson's Punchout, for NES.

Donkey Kong on the Colecovision :)

I did have some cousins with an Atari that I played a lot but Donkey Kong was the first one of our own (my brother and I) .

An Atari 2600 game, I can't remember which one. I was five, it's all a bit blurry though.

Logic suggests it was most likely Combat (which came with the system) or Pac Man though. If Pac Man was one of the games I got with the Atari that Christmas (knowing nothing about video games and casting about for a title that would interest a five-year-old, Pac Man would have been too obvious a choice to pass up) then logic says that's the first game I would have fired up.

So I'm gonna guess Pac Man, but damned if I know.

An Atari Grandstand!

There were different sport games: Football, Tennis, Hockey... basically, it was different amounts of white sticks batting a square ball back & forth controlled by a stick with a dial on top. Also, there was the shooting game, where you have to shoot a white square as it whizzes across the screen.

I was going to say Bezerk for the Atari 2600, but then I remembered we had one of those Pong consoles back in the late 70's--if that counts.

Donkey Kong Junior for the Gemini system. I think it was an Atari Clone. I went through 2 of them. The system... not the game.

If you count the ZX Spectrum my dad got wheh I was about 5 or 6, then I have no idea, maybe Manic Miner.

Proper console game would be Alex Kidd, which came inside my Master System II.

Me too. I also got the smurfs game with it for my birthday one year. The football game for Coleco-vision ruled with special controllers.

Well, Super Mario Bros, the one that came with the NES. Otherwise, the first one after that was King Fu. Followed shortly by (in order) Ghost N goblins, Zelda, and Mike Tysons Punch Out.

I think mine was something like "Punky Skunk" for the playstation. I don't think I owned any games for a while, the playstation was just bought so Da could play racing games. We rented games from this place called "Armchair Videos" which isn't around anymore. It might have been the Reboot game though...

The first game I actually OWNED was Legend Of Dragoon, I think.
