This only estimates about 7,500 sold, so with the second printing and all... this is clearly going to be SLG's most popular book. Particularly, I think, once #3 hits.

The first issue was a nice solid setup. I can't wait until the story really gets going.
It's good to see Gargoyles back after too long an absence.

My comic shop doesn't even have Gargoyles, and I've been wanting to get it forever....the cartoon is my favorite of all-time (which says alot cause I'm a 80's baby so theres hefty competition). Does anyone know where I can order it from?

And does #1 pick off where Hunter's Moon left off or does it pick up where the first ep of TGC left off?

It picks up after Hunter's Moon. Which is a re-telling of the first TGC ep, but then, after. NEW STORIES BABY!

But yeah, it's better than 80s cartoons. Compelling characters, strong stories. It had everything.

My LCS doesn't have it and I'm pissed because I brought Seasons 1 and 2 vol.1 on DVD so I can know what's going on in the book since it's been so long since I've seen the show. And now I can't even find the damn book. :mad:

Your LCS probably doesn't have it because the second printing has not shipped out yet. You can ask them to order it for you. If they won't, it is available at Amazon.com and at SLG's webstore -- store.slavelabor.com.

Isn't Issue #3 supposed to be out in October? It wasn't in the previews this month. :(

At the moment, it may not come out. Sales for the Season 2 Vol. 1 DVD have been underwhelming. So unless there's a boost in sales for Season 1 and Season 2 Vol. 1, Season 2 Vol. 2 may not come out.

May not come out? What the hell? So I'm stuck with half a season? This f***king blows. I was looking toward to watching the rest of the Alavon world tour and Hunter's Moon again. :(

I think it should be shipping next week.

Disney created this wonderful Catch-22. Lots of people didn't buy the first half because they were afraid of being stuck with only the first half. As a result, those of us who did buy the first half are now stuck with only the first half.

Buy it for your friends, and keep buying the comic - it'll come out eventually. We're getting new stories from a television show that was cancelled ten years ago, after all....
