Street Fighter II #4 didn't ship this week, though it was solicited to. I'm getting really frustrated with Udon. I LOVE the Street Fighter Book. I love the Dark Stalker Book. When UDON bothers to get books out they are always great and leave me waiting for more...and wait I do, time and time again. The fact is they continue to miss deadlines and shipping late.

UDON: I will buy whatever Street Fighter Universe books you put out, but you have to put them out. Do you want my money or not? I know it's hard to run a comic book company, I'm sympathetic to the small returns on comics. I know it's a shrinking niche market. I understand you make most of your money off the variant covers, the foil covers, the limited prints and outside studio projects...Do what you have to do, but don't leave me waiting 3 months at a time for a single book.

PLEASE get this book back up and running. PLEASE get back to the job of publishing comics. I know Alvin Lee is the man, but if he needs time off then find someone else. I'd buy the book with or without him.

I'll take your money if they don't want it. PM me and I'll tell you where to send it.

I'm an Ultimates fan. I'm used to this level of lateness. The lateness of vol. 2 leaves me at a loss because vol. 1 always came out on time.

Maybe they're too busy playing the games instead of making the comics. They've gotta get their references somewhere.

I checked my comic book store's website and Street Fighter II #4 is coming out this week. I'm sooo psyched. At the same time, I'm ok with the chronic lateness, as UDON is a new indie company. I compare them to Image back in the day, though UDON is only a couple of months late as opposed to Image missing a deadline by 1 to 2 years.

Also, head honcho Erik Ko has explained quite often that back in Feb/March when it was the NYC Comic Con, UDON brought Alvin Lee from his home in Thailand to come to the con. However, Alvin caught some serious illness and wasn't able to complete issue four until much later. Plus, going to all these cons does put a strain on the scheduling and production of UDON's comics. In the end, these guys really care about producing a great product, (I think most of the people in the comics industry will tell you about the effort and work UDON put in to everything they do) and in the end, having a Street Fighter comic is much better than crappy animes and fanfics or short two minute video game endings.

vol. 1 always came out on time.

Yeah but you couldn't that say that tha thing was on something called a schedule. New issues could be absent for months from Previews (especially the last 3 or 4 issues).

I hear you guys. I CAN deal with lateness, too...I just don't wanna'.

I mean, I'm an indie comics/Marvel kinda guy. I used to get books like Ben Edlund's "The Tick" and Evan Dorkin's "Milk & Cheese" while they were originally being published, so I know ALL about waiting for good books...It's just I expect a little better from UDON.

I didn't hear that about Alvin getting sick. That's no fun, poor guy. I saw him and Erik at the NY Comiccon...Hope I didn't get him sick. That would be ironic.
