Why thank you. I always look forward to the food, water, and fireworks. This morning I went out on the front steps and proclaimed, "I'm independent!" and then I went back inside to work on the list of chores my wife had for me.

I'm gonna go throw tea bags into the bathtub in protest.

Happy 4th Everyone!
I hold this day in high regard. It symbolizes an important time in history where people said 'I wanna do my own thing...damnit!"

The 4th was almost as big of a day for me as Christmas. On top of it being my birthday, We would have a big picnic lunch at my Uncle's. He had a pool and I would swim all day long. I don't know if there has been a 4th of July in which I havn't eaten a burger and Peas and Paenuts (a cold salad made of the title's obvious ingredients) since I have had teeth. This year was no exception.

In years past we would go to the Flint, MI fireworks, but since I live elsewhere now, It's hard to know which suburbs have fireworks which night, where to go, and whos are worthwhile. (and the Detroit Fireworks is soooo crowded, I've never gone). So here is a digital display for everyone who hasn't been able to go for one reason or anothyer.
