At my job I have met this guy who started to help us in the dry dock from a other trade and during a slow time I was eating some Hardee's chicken and offered him a piece a chicken ( which for me is a great act of kindness cause I LOVE chicken= hahaha) anyway his family is from NC which is were Hardees was started ( I didn't know that) and his uncle is the guy who started Hardees ( uncle from marriaged) and he went on to tell me the story how a former Gov and mayor took his Hardees away from his uncle. Very interesting story and how aka Mr Hardees is living broke and in his late 80's

Did he take the chicken or is he pissed about the whole thing and sworn off of Hardee's altogether?

I don't care what happened to a guy, how could you honestly swear OFF Hardee's? The Monster Burger? Holy shit, is that a good sandwich.

whoa whoa WHOA! It's far better than either. As far as I'm concerned, it holds the #1 ranking. Damn good breakfast too.

I have to drive an hour to get to the nearest Hardee's and damn if it ain't worth it. The Monster burger with its half pound of bacon and sauce is amazing. I generally wolf down 3 of them there and take home a couple.
