Popular people in your family you hate

Do you have a relative that you hate but everyone else in your family seems to like? Of course you know the said person is a ass hole but the others don't.And when you have a fallout with said relative their quick to take their side.Am i the onlyone with this problem:confused:

You're not alone, but it's not like that in my family. In fact there are only two relatives that are disliked in my entire family (unless I am:o ) and they're both aunts by marriage.

I have the same in my family. We all hate the 3 aunts all by marriage. Its not easy getting along with my family. I dont have your problem but my mom does. Her sister is king of that family whatever she says goes. So my mom and her had an argument of a baby shower once and everyone sided with my aunt.

Nope. Pretty much the black sheep of the family are collectively 'tolerated' by everyone. The exceptions being of course the ones in their immediate family. No one is exceedingly popular as far as I can tell.

Aunts by marriage must be universally disliked.

We've got the Aunt married to my father's brother who wants desperately to be the perfect Christian mom. It's nauseating. She doesn't work, but always acts put out if you ask her to help with anything, including helping my ailing grandmother.

The snooty high-strung Aunt married to my dad's other brother. She can't deal with large numbers of children, so I barely ever saw her growing up.

We've got the second cousin who has been a brat from age 10 to age 45. She's a lot of fun though...you just wouldn't want to deal with her on a daily basis.

Surprisingly, on my mother's side, the Aunts by marriage are well-liked. I guess because mom's entire side are nothing but down to earth, hard working people and so are the Aunts.

Beats me. I tend to stay out of family drama stuff. All I know is that the woman my uncle married after his first wife died is kind of creepy, but everyone knows that.
