Reasons why we should always appreciate forums.

1. You are given WAY more time to think of something funny to say in response to someone else. That's something you just cant do in regular conversations.

You can make friends.

My wife and I met a bunch of forum people at SDCC last summer and since then we have kept in close contact with several of them. We had a forum friend from Alberta come and visit us a couple of months ago and spent a few days visiting her a few weeks ago. For the past five days we've been hanging with another friend we met on the forum and he's visiting from California. There are numerous other people I know through forums that I consider friends, some of them damn good ones.
