To continue my series of New Warriors, Classic Marvel, and Annihilation pics, here are the first three Novas I've done so far.
Richard Rider, the Man Called Nova

And the Human Rocket as he appeared in a variation of his original classic duds in the New Warriors

And for now, the last one I've done, the newest Annihilation costume for Nova, a modified suit designed to help him contain the entire Nova force

I hope you enjoy him. More coming soon.

Very nice. :)
Any chance you've done a group picture of Nova(Richard)'s team before they were attacked by the Annihilation wave in the prologue?
Great work! You're missing, though, the Kid Nova costume he originally wore in New Warriors.

Thanks guys. I have three more of his uniforms ready, with only two left remaining...
Here are the next three Novas, as "Kid" Nova, in his next Warriors outfit, and his mid-nineties solo series/Warriors look...

Can't we all just pretend that one never happened?

I'd rather pretend the Annihilation suit never happened.
Seeing it drawn in a non-ostentatious style just drives home how fugly that design is.

It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the extraneous spikey things.
. . . no, wait, yes it would.

it does kind of fail the "Ron Frenz" rule, doesn't it?

I dunno about that one, but it does fail my own personal rule of costumes: Never ditch a cool costume for one that is not as cool.

I like it's more agressive, almost Roman soldier look.
