First time posting to the forum. Glad to be a part of such a cool board as I've been a fan of HB since The Corpse and The Iron Shoes and Wolves of Saint August collections.

To start things off, I thought I'd share an illustration of "The Big Red Guy."

Well, ok. So that last pic wasn't exactly THE Original Big Red Guy..... Anyway, here's another drawing done for a Western-themed story called, "BADLANDS." It still may happen, but it's taken a backseat to some other projects at the moment.

You've got it, man. Good stuff. Welcome aboard. Got any Hellboy drawings?

Thanks for the shout-out Hellboyone. If I might say so, your latest HB sketch is incredible! You've made him your own.

As for me, I'm afraid I don't have any Hellboy pics at the moment. My attempts at drawing him always fall far short of my expectations. Let's be honest...they just plain suck! I'll try to give him another go. Even though I don't have any Hellboy, I do have a Hillbilly Man-Goat.

Here's a card set I originally designed for my 10 year old nephew, Riley. He was really into Yu-go-Oh and I thought I would design a game using him as the main characater. The versions here don't have the character names or show the backs of the cards with the smart aleck write-ups I did for each one.

Here's one of my many odd characters. This one was supposed to be an obsessed comic/movie fan-boy/man-child. The kind you see hanging out at the movie theater all day.

Had a few minutes to do some sketching today and thought I would try Hellboy again. This one didn't turn out too bad.

Great stuff, grizzlelee! I like your drawings a lot. I'm sure I've seen that movie theatre dude in person but the scary thing is the Hillbilly Man-Goat guy looks even more familiar to me. Ulp!!

Your Hellboy looks great!

Thanks for the kind words, Gary. Most of my characters tend to be a bit on the ugly side. I just can't seem to draw "pretty" people.

Thanks for the comments, Bandit.
I've finally begun work on the first of a series of books about a small Midwestern town and its odd residents. The whole work is fictional, of course, but the series will be a bit like a travelogue or guide mixing text, photos and artwork. After the introductory story, which covers the town's history, etc., subsequent books will focus on a particular character or theme. Hopefully I'll have something to show soon. In the meantime, here's another quick lunchtime sketch.
