Does anyone know the back story of Solar?

I believe thats the name but basically he starred in a 4 issue mini with fire powers and then disappeared and yes I'm talking Marvel. Anyone know what ended up happening to the character?

The only character I can remember named Solar was the Valiant character, Dr. Solar. He didn't control fire, but he could turn himself into energy, so I can understand him coming across like a Human Torch kind of character.

As for what happened to him, ya' got me. Valiant sank, lost track of all their characters.

When did Sun Boy from the Legion of Super Heroes get stranded in the Marvel U? You mean that isn't Sun Boy? Even the costume is almost a dead ringer for SB on top of the face and hair.
