Do you guys think Luke Cage will join up with Cap and Falcon? I hope they don't make him undecided like the Thing in FF #538. I can understand why Grimm is in the middle, but in my mind there's no doubt that Cage will support Cap.

If I didn't already know the outcome, I wouldn't be sure what side Luke would join. I mean, back then, I would definitely say Cap's side. However, now he has a wife and kid. Plus, his identity is already known. He may join Cap's side, but I bet it was a hard decision for him, as we'll see in the NA 22.

That's my guess as well. Luke will have to decide what's more important, playing it safe for his family's sake, or standing by his principals and being a man his family can be proud of. I think he'll pick the latter and go Anti Reg.

If he knows what's good for him, he'll pick whatever side Jessica is on. ;)

I'm thinking the five issues might show a slide to one side.

Cap - Totally anti.
Cage - On the anti side, but not 100%.
Spider-Woman - Torn, maybe pushed in a direction.
Sentry - On the pro side, but not 100%
Iron Man - Totally pro.

Ha ha, yeah, it's always safe to go with the wife.

yeah, I agree with you there. Looks like Spider Woman is the herring. I just can't come to a conclusion as to the side she would chose. Also, just because she chooses one side, it doesn't mean anything. The lady is a double agent afterall.

:) Can't argue with that.

Luke has always been about principle..he beat Doc Doom's ass for 200 bones. He's anti...and i'm with Cage.

Very true. I think she could be pro, but then couldn't her loyalty to Cap and Fury take her to the anti side? Who would Hydra tell her to go with, will she listen?

Wow, I never even thought about Hydra. Man, I wonder what side they would like to influence.

Why would Luke Cage be on the anti-registration side? He never really had a secret identity and he would be getting paid to be a hero again.

Do we know when all #22 actually takes place though? For all we know part of it could take place before #2 and part might take place after it. So he could change his mind by the end of the issue.

As long as Jessica and the baby aren't harmed I'm okay with whatever side Cage picks but only if they are okay.

I guess it's the principle. Luke seems to be a civil liberties guy. Considering how adament Cap is on insisting the law infringes on civil liberties of heroes, I can see how Luke would be swayed to his side.

I honestly don't think that was cage in Civil War 2.
The black guy at the computer was too way too small (and he used the equipment pretty easily). Also, he didn't seem to speak "street."

Blue jeans and a black shirt doesn't automatically mean Cage.

Spoiler
It's got to be him. Wizard already revealed that he would join the resistance. (Wizard issue 176 page pg 26).
End of Spoiler

I guess the New Avengers Civil War arc just takes place entirely in between Civil War issues 1 and 2. In CW #1 the line is drawn. Then Cap gets together the entire team, taking place over this New Avengers arc. Then CW #2 shows them in action.

Yeah, I believe so. Then I believe the Iron Man arc will show his plans for the war.

Preview art from a couple JF's ago shows Cage battling it out with a bunch of SHIELD agents.

Bendis also mentioned how "DD" appears in New Avengers #22.That should be interesting.

Which DD are we talking about? The Fake one, or Matt Murdock?

I assume you're talking about the imposter...

Well, DD can't very easily join the pro=registration team... he'd have to unmask... and that would pop the "Matt Murdock" is Daredevil bubble, wouldn't it? (HHHmmmmm.... that would resolve a continuing problem for the Daredevil book, now wouldn't it???? Hmmmmm..... )

he can't join because he's already a fugitive from the law. :)

Sentry won't be pro after he finds out what Iron Man did to his buddy The Hulk.
