Was that actually when people learned that Earth was not the center of the universe?

Yeah, I only just now read the printed text. It originally said, “It seems like only yesterday, the people down there believed Earth was the center of the universe." but the dialogue got a last-minute adjustment for what I'm sure was a very good reason (no, seriously!).
Maybe I was getting the Monitor's "voice" wrong, or maybe 200 years to the Monitor is like 500 years to us, or maybe there's an upcoming Copernicus travels to 1806 story I don't know about.
Anyhow, I really did know the heliocentric model predates the 19th century, so I'm officially blaming this anomaly on Booster Gold!
