I posted this here (http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2006/06/28/exiles-84-numbers-game/), but I figured I might as well share it with you folks, too.

In Exiles #84, each alternate Earth that former members are returned to is numbered, and each number presumably has some meaning. So, dear reader, how about you guess what the meaning is behind each number!!

#27 - Magnus

#653 - Mesmero

#172 - Wolverine

#1287 - Maverick

#181 - Daredevil

#3031 - Kane

#2020 - Iron Man

#714 - Angel

#23895 - Storm

#10101 - Vision

#1917 - Colossus

#4210 - Magik

#873 - Hulk

#15 - Spider (Peter Parker)

#4732 - Ms. Marvel

#371 - Gambit

#2189 - Namora

#12 - Mimic

Click here (http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2006/06/28/exiles-84-numbers-game/#comments) to see some guesses that have been made already, including an Anaheim one I never would have gotten! :)

Clever stuff, Tony!

#181 - Daredevil. Wasn't that a significant issue? Maybe a Frank Miller one?

#10101 - Vision. It's binary!

#15 - Spider (Peter Parker). As in Amazing Fantasy.

That's all I can figure out.

They don't ALL have significance (but some, do) ;)

By the by, did you see the one about how close the Storm one was to being the zip code for Claremont, VA?

That was awesome! That has to be changed for the trade!!

Oh, so, Tony, how about you tell me how many of the 18 have no meaning to them? Then it could still be a game! Figuring out which ones have meaning (and what the meaning is) and which ones don't!

I don't get it.
I tought if the exiles members are get back to their own reality they live they life like there is nothing changed.

Wasn't she incinerated? No remains, no funeral.

Wasn't Daredevil dead?

Diane, I'm sending you a No-Prize!

P@dy, the Exiles don't go on with their lives like nothing ever happened when they return home. The Timebroker might have told them that, once upon a time, but the Timebroker was lying.

I see that #2020 for Iron Man is in reference for the Iron Man 2020 as seen in an annual of Amazing Spiderman in the 80's, not sure about the issue number.

#12 - Mimic

Twelve is the number of issues left before Mimic returns from the dead. ;)

Maybe I'm in deep denial over losing Mimic, but I'm convinced that Deadpool's healing power will eventually regenerate him. Why else would they have made a point of demonstrating Deadpool could do that right before Mimic swipes his power?

Deadpool's healing factor doesn't make him immortal - didn't She-Hulk kill him rather easily at the end of that very storyline? Mimic only got half that ability, and Proteus did considerably worse to him.

Here's the thing: once the body dies, mutant powers (borrowed or otherwise) stop functioning. Mimic could have copied God's healing factor for all it mattered; once Proteus killed him, that was it.

Sorry but:
"Powers and Abilities:
augmented strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes, regeneration factor, cursed immortality, personal teleportation unit"

Assuming uncannyxmen.net is an unimpeachable source (and that's a big "assuming"), that applies to the Deadpool of Earth 616, who is not the same as the Exiles Deadpool.

Furthermore, after some research, it appears that his immortality is unrelated to his healing factor, and thus would not have been copied by Cal.

Plus, you know, She-Hulk killed him by slamming him to the ground. Immortal? I think not.

okey ...you're right...but for the She-hulk example....I think Sabretooth broke Deadpool's neck....or not? I think DP died two times.....because a broken neck is also a deadly thing:)

/oh and sorry for the grammar/
