The current ongoing series. Ramos' pencils rock so much on that series/characters. He does him completely justice. It's a treat for the eyes. :)

Wolvie has a supporting role in New Avengers, which is a kickass book. But if that book's not to your liking you have various X-titles to choose from (Astonishing is good right now), as well as his solo series (which is probably the best place to get your maxium daily allowance of Wolverine since the title focuses just on him).
I'm sure there's other titles i'm missing...when one Wolverine title dies, two more grow back to take it's place

OMGZ Wolverine is so badass.
That cstume make look so DAGEROUS!
His the bestest characher ever. His my hero.
Wolverine's best adventure has yet to be published. He's an amnesiac with an invunerable pink tu-tu attached to his body. The only way to get it off is to team up with his sentient pink tu-tu costume & find the mystery villain. Sabretooth puts it on Logan to torment him. But he's not the villain. It's not Apocalypse either. The mystery villain is none other than Mister Sinister. He wants to kill Wolvie with the unending torment that he wore an invulnerable sentient pink tu-tu.

Marvel doesn't do second printings. Whatever "second printings" you've found for the first few New Avengers issues are alternate covers.
But to answer the question, the current series so far is really good. He's tracking down Nitro after what happened in Civil War #1. Previous to that, the issues written by Daniel Way were pretty mediocre. And previous to that, the Enemy of the state/Agent of SHIELD stories that Millar wrote were awesome.

The current arc started in #42, and the second part, #43 came out today.

Got me on a technicality.
But up until... whenever the second printings of those issues are, Marvel didn't do second printings since 2001.

Yeah I find it soo odd that they are doing second printings when I remember hearing they would never do that.

Joe Quesada actually goes back on his word? I'm shocked...
The more apt question is when has Joe Quesada not gone back on his word?

In trades
Best of Wolverine - You get it all, everything you know about the character is in this hardcover
Essential Wolverine volume 4 the Hama run is the best run on Wolverine the stories are self-contained interesting and the rogues don't actually suck plus the art is a hell of a lot better and you can read it in B&W.
I say get those and then work your way through Enemy of the State, Mutant Genesis, and the Astonishing X-men HC.

How does everyone feel about the work in the new Origins series? I can't seem to get into the story when the art is so medicre.

Thus far, I dig it. I really didn't like Origins & Endings...written by Way as well. I thought it was gonna move as slow as that did, but as I said...it has been interesting up to this point. I'm not hip on a magic sword though....
