What kind of entry has Kylun been given? Is it particularly detailed?
I know it was rumoured that Millar was going to use him and Micromax in Civil War, so it amkes sense that he got an entry.

He's busy in Next Wave threatening the 'Fleshy Ones' and being told he's a loser by the Celestials...:D

He's one of those characters who straddles different publishing groups -- he's X-related in the sense that he had a series that was promoted as part of the X-universe back in the day (his X-51 phase), but he was also a member of the Avengers (albeit a very minor one), so he has a foot in both camps.

What kind of entry has Kylun been given? Is it particularly detailed?
It's a standard Handbook entry, covering as much of his history, abilities and such as can be done in the space available. I think all the important stuff's covered.
I know it was rumoured that Millar was going to use him and Micromax in Civil War, so it amkes sense that he got an entry.
I can't recall whether that's so off the top of my head (hard keeping track of all this CW stuff), but Kylun would have gotten an entry regardless. As we've noted in the past, not all of the characters we feature in the Handbook are necessarily slated for further use in the near future...

Allow me to quote myself from Comixfan...
It reads as follows;
Intelligence:5 (that makes sense since High-Intelligence is part of her power)
Strength:4 (Ok... so they weakened her a bit... she's not exactly Super-Girl)
Speed:3 (...Weakened her waaaay too much there in my opinion... You can't dodge a bullet and have only a 3 for speed)
Durability:5 (that's fair and apparently she's only got... nigh-invulnerability... if someone can give me the exact definition that would be great... thanks)
Energy Projection:1 (And this is possible HOW?!!? this is definately a mistake)
Fighting Skills:4 (makes sense I guess, trained by Banshee)
Aside from the mistakes... wow that is a good picture of Monet in her new outfit.
I really did like the pic of her in that HOT outfit.:D

I'm not super-familiar with M, so I can't speak with authority regarding her powers. If it helps, though, details about what her power grid stats mean can be found at...

I was going to get this for M, but I decided not to. Anything new regarding her or Penance? I didn't recall seeing Lacuna on there--any news on her?

Yes she does. On top of Super-Speed, Nigh-Invulnerability, Night AND Telescopic Vision, an accelerated healing factor, and Super-Reflexes... anything else I'm forgetting...
Thanks to the link from Sean McQuaid, I got to see what the stats actually mean and a lot of them make sense... but A) how fast does a bullet move and B) How does she have NO energy projection. It's impossible.

Yup.:) She's on the cover looking hot an everything.
Penance is mentioned as a big part of her bio in the beginning. but nothing too detailed.
Lacuna is awesome but for someone who can stop time to act/live within a moment... she sure has a pretty low energy projection level.

How is it impossible? None of her powers are energy projections.

I would imagine they're referring to her psi-powers... which, while ill-defined and wildly varying over the years, HAVE been described as powerful in the past.
My store apparently didn't get it, but as suspected, it appears Longshot ain't in it. S'got me curious about what handbook he WILL be appearing in in the near future, I'll admit that.

Telepathy gives you energy projection status. Emma has it, and so does all the other telepaths... that's why I'm upset...:(
It would have given us an actual level of power to her telepathy.

She has basic telepathy, that's not really classed as 'Energy Projections'.

Monet doesn't have Psi-Bolts or anything of that sort, she's simply a low order telepath. Hence why she doesn't have a power rank for actual energy projections along that lines.

She has more potential then just a basic telepath. Otherwise someone as smart as Emma wouldn't have promised to teach her how to channel all the ambient psychic energy in the air and focus it into a lightning psi-bolt. Which still makes me wonder If she can do that yet...:)

A low order telepath can't mind wipe an entire group of people though... I have to disagree with you on that...

You just proved my argument. While she may have the potential for something like that, she has none of the training to actually do it. So she's just a basic telepath at the moment, with no psi-bolts or anything of the like.

But doesn't the classification scale measure potential? If Magneto is mindwiped and has no idea how to use his powers, he'd still rank as an incredibly high energy projector on the scale, I'd think. It's what your body can do, not what you actually know how to do.
Whatever, I didn't even BUY the damn thing... why am I arguing this again?

No... i didn't, for 2 reasons.
1) She mind wipes people. Mind wiping isn't a limited telepathic ability. And as Lucky One said, she has been shown to be very powerful(psionically) before.
2) She was trained by the top telepathin Marvel today... so who knows what she's capable of.

Just because she can mindwipe, doesn't make her an energy projector. She's a basic telepath at the moment. If/when she develops psi-bolts or psi-blasts, then her energy projection will be increased.

No, it doesn't measure potential. Charles Xavier has the potential for all of the powers that Cassandra Nova displayed in New X-Men. That doesn't mean he should get ranked for things that he doesn't have access to. M can mindwipe, that doesn't automatically mean she gets psi-bolts or anything of the type. Not all telepaths have those, and M may not be someone who does. Or doesn't have the training to actually create them.

...ok Beast... I forfeit... it's just not worth it... She's a limited telepath who can mind wipe people... you win...

I got to see what the stats actually mean and a lot of them make sense... but A) how fast does a bullet move and B) How does she have NO energy projection. It's impossible.
I don't think we need to worry about exactly how fast a particular bullet might be going -- it's been established several times in the past that characters fast enough to dodge bullets aren't necessarily always able to match or exceed the speed of a bullet. The extent to which they see/hear the shot coming is a factor, as is agility, as is anticipation/intuition, as is the accuracy of the shooter and so on.
I didn't write the M profile, so I'm not super-immersed in all her power details, but the speed rating they gave her makes sense to me based on what I've seen.
As for energy projection: perhaps more than any other category, this underlines how the power grids are ballpark estimates, at-a-glance approximations that never really fit any one character precisely, or any two characters precisely the same way. I'm not sure what the profiler's reasoing was in this particular case, but there are always bound to be differing interpretations.
Lacuna is awesome but for someone who can stop time to act/live within a moment... she sure has a pretty low energy projection level.
The power grid numbers aren't always strictly a guide of how mighty or how impressive a given power is -- in some cases, they're more about power types. A "3" rating indicates in part that Lacuna only has the one type of energy power and that it tends to be short-term and such. Doesn't mean it isn't impressive, just that she doesn't wield multiple forms of energy and usually doesn't do it from great distances or anything like that.
