There is no way I'm going to watch this low-rez POS with bad sound! The Spider-man 3 trialer will be shown before Superman this week in full badass glory! But I do like the heads up!

I really really want to see Venom, but you have to admit that Thomas Hayden Church is a magnificent choice for Sandman.

Major drooolll!! Looks awesome, has that great Raimi feel. I just hope we don't overdose wuth the villains. Not only do we see the black costume, we also have the Sandman and Green Goblin Jr. Would it be more interesting to focus on one huge baddie like Venom and play out that story line? I saw X3 this weekend and I loved it but it had to many dangling threads that were eventually cleaned up but were stretched out a bit too much.

Sorry guys, this longtime Spider-Man fan says this looks...nah, forget that. It looks great! Makes me feel good that I'm getting a Black Costume Spidey commission from Ron Frenz..

Gut feeling from left field with no supportable evidence but I don't think there is another Goblin in this. I'm thinking that Peter "borrows" one of the Goblin's gliders to chase Venom around. I ran the tracking bar back and forth on the glider scenes and it looks in one like the pilot is wearing a black outfit with no mask, and Pete is dressed the same way in the trailer. Or that cupcake I just ate is kicking in.

Where did you scare that up, Rick?
Everything I've seen in the trailer is too blurry for details.

Hey Bandit, if you wanna watch it, there is a High Definition version there too and it looks perfect, although I agree, a giant cinema screen is waaaayyyy better...

The trailer looks great! I'm very much looking forward to this film.
What's interesting in a good way here, is that I have zero trepedation going in, wondering if the film will be good. I almost KNOW it will be. Sam Raimi and his wonderful cast have proven time and again with these films (with sequels that actually don't suck- which is rare these days) that he's weaving an intricate tapestry, rather than wiping his feet on the doormat of Spiderman lore, or just passing through with little respect for the subject matter. Each film is almost Raimi's (and pardon me if this sounds mawkish) love letter to Spiderman's great history.
I wish there were more directors in this industry like Sam Raimi and Bryan Singer. Directors who may not always have great knowledge of the history of the comic book characters they make films about when going into the project, but none the less imbhue a sense of respect and honor into each film.

That's a frame grab directly from the trailer. You can pause Quicktime and then go through it frame-by-frame with the arrow keys....convenient for grabbin' frames for posting. :)

Fitzroy nailed it... I was looking at a too-small trailer.
I hope Harry gets a good suit.
