Looks like we get back to back weeks of New Avengers. Can this be true?

Makes sense they have to get on schedule with Civil War; plus, it's a different artist.
I'd theorize they're also anxious to make people forget about the lousy conclusion to the dreadful Collective arc as soon as possible, but that's just an opinion.

Not that shocking considering that for Civil War each issue is a stand-alone with a new artist and the fact that Bendis is writing 50% less books now. I would assume that most of these issues where in the tank and ready to be published 2 months ago. Now that the House of M/Sentry filler is done with this title has really turned it around and I have very high hopes for these character issues.
Also the competition really pulled out all the stunts last month to get control of the market now the next 8 weeks are going to be Marvels chance to come back.
Its not an accident that Ultimates, Astonshing X-men, Civil War, 2 issues of New Avengers, Young Avengers, 2 issues of Amazing Spider-man are all coming out at the same time.

Um, what? When have you ever heard of any company doing anything like that?
Marvel shove comics out according to a schedule. This was set in stone months ago. It's happened this way because Deodato was running two or so weeks late on issue #20, which meant issue #21 was shoved back a week even though it's already completed (as it was by a different artist) and they're now getting back on track.

I was kidding.
As for the post above saying "It's not an accident..." that so many titles are coming out at once, I disagree in some respects. It's not like they were sitting on issues of Ultimates and Astonishing X-Men, for example; I'm sure Marvel would have gladly released the latest Ultimates issue a couple of months ago if it was finished.

Doesn't matter; I'm dropping the book until this "Civil war" thing is over.

The book won't even be the same afterwards, if you do that. Just letting you know. :)

Actually, I think it is an accident, but you raise an interesting point. The June sales charts should be an absolute stomper for Marvel. Although with four issues of 52 out, they may still not win that totally.

Oh come on DC's lineup
INFINITE CRISIS #7 (Of 7) - event
ALL STAR BATMAN & ROBIN #4* - often delayed
52 WEEK #1** - event
52 WEEK #2** - event
52 WEEK #3** - event
52 WEEK #4** - event
SUPERMAN BATMAN #26 -often delayed
SUPERMAN BATMAN #25 -often delayed
SUPERGIRL #6 - often delayed
GREEN LANTERN #11 - often delayed
and the OYL reboots
And people complain about Marvel, but when the big four of DC's delays come out in the same month you know the companies are playing with the numbers.

I'm glad we got it double shipped since the Collective arc is finally done and we can move on to the current Civil War happenings. I'm curious as to how much each issue dedicates to the disassembling and how much moves the book as a regular title outside of the CW stuff.

I know, but i'm not interested in these individual character arcs. Wake me when there's a team again.

Hmm, that's a great question. I don't even know if Tony has found out that Luke has joined up with Cap. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

spoilers:
This is pretty much all Captain America. i enjoyed it, could've been a little better, i don't really like the artwork... Basically cap and the Falcon begin trying to round people up to begin fighting back. Their first visit is Pym and you can likely guess how that turns out. Sort of interesting confrontation between two people who really don't want to fight each other. Next month looks like a visit to Luke Cage. 7.3/10

Is it true that the individual stories are suppose to center around a common event or situation?
