Avengers League: da noble savage v. Twilight & venuscameback

Welcome to the next match of the Avengers League! If you haven't been following the league, it is a large scale series of battles where posters draft teams and pit their teams against that of other posters, and you vote to decide who wins. When voting, please consider the strategies the players have written, rather than just the team's roster.

Each match is taking place on an empty battlefield, 100 yards away, and each character (with few exceptions) depicted is in his/her most frequent incarnation (therefore, no Iron Spidey or Extremis Iron Man), and the characters have to act in character (meaning that the heroes cannot kill if they aren't normally wont to do so).

If you have any questions about the strategies, please feel free to post these questions here, and the players will answer. The match will last twenty-four hours. After that time period, the player with the largest number of votes wins.

da noble savage's strategy:

-Ok first thing's first. As soon as the fight start malstrom put's a sheild up around everybody on my team but monica, he also make's the sheild unable to be seen through, he then shrinks to a size that is just before the atmoic scale. He still maintain's the sheild around my team and remove's all the kinetic energy within the force field at the same time he raise's the sheild and before he shrinks so if anybody teleport's in they well instantly be robed of there kinetic energy , and be unable to move.

-As soon as the match start's The collector use's his temporal assimlator to travel in time forward to the end of the match and then postion hisself directly in front of where quasor well be at the start of the match then goes back in time to the exact start of the match. he will then appear directly in front of Quasor at the exact moment that the match start's and unload a blast from his battle suit directly at Quasor's face. Now one or to thing's well happen at this point either A). Quasor has a personal auto sheild that kick's in and protect's him or some how he had enough time to put it up. Or B). Quasor has no auto shield and takes the blast directly to the face. Now if Quasor has a auto sheild then The collector well keep useing his temporal assimlator to make temporal jumps in distance and time in a erratic paterren and keep blasting away at Quasor's sheild until it goes down he also well try to aviod targeting anybody else but Quasor unless he has to to save his life his job well be to keep blasting and keep Quasor off blance untill he get's help from his teammates or is able to k.o. Quasor. If Quasor doesn't have a personal auto shield which I think he doesn't Controller well keep blasting at Quasor until his is k.o.ed.

-Ok at the exact start of the match Monica well turn to light energy and then shoot straight up as far as she can get with out ringing her self out and of course leaveing the atmosphere she well do this a sub light speed's there by avoiding any speed blitz that might be comeing her way. She well then converty to electric energy and unleash her most powerfull blast at Quasor's shield If he had time to get it up. If Quasor didn't put up a sheild she instead target's red ronin with the blast instead. Now she should be able to make a blast siffcicent enough to blast through Quasor's shield especally since he well be busy fending off the collecter, and plus this is monica I can chanell's blast's that make sky father's feel pain And the same goes to being able to turn red ronin to slag. Now if for some odd reason red ronin stand's up to the first blast monica well keep blasting as fast she can and as hard as she can until he is are down. Right after the blast has left her she then convert's to light energy and flys stright for Quasor at sublight speed since she well be visable light at this point she should be able to bypass any personal auto sheild he has and head directly to his spinal cord then convert to electric energy and unleash a blast directly to his spinal cord with sufficent energy to knock him out this combined with the attack by the collector should be able to k.o. him. she then convert's to light energy and does the same thing to the spinal cord of the enchantress now she may take more then one jolt her being a asgardion and all if so monica well go up her spinal cord to her brain and jolt her there until she is k.o.ed.

-Now once malestrom is sure nobody has teleported into the force field, if the enthacntress has teleported anybody in or teleported her self in Malestrom use's his mastery of kinetic energy to stop the beating of there heart instally wait's for them to die then realese's the kintic energy for his teammates also just so u know he made sure to keep there hearts beating when did his opening move of stealing the kintic enregy within the force feild

-Once the kintic energy has been realesed from malestrom Akron create's a gateway within the sheild leading to 80 feet above the enemy team. The Human torch then steps through the gateway flame's on and use's his control of heat energy to raise the tempture of namor's body enough to evaporte all moistore he may have in and around him he well then create a cage of flame's directly around namor of the most instense flame's he can generate he well avoid fight's with anybody else and concentrate on keeping namor in the flame cage if namor deside's to be full hardy and simply jump through the flames with no mosture in his body it should prove very painfull for him. Also Human Torch well create another cage around him and keep him there untill maelstrom make's his move.

-As soon as Akron Creates a gateway for Human torch he well create a second one for his self Takeing him directly in front of Baron Zemo I and Madam Masque. First he well grab zemo and throw him back while launching one of his explosive bolt's directly at him since zemo well likly be taken by suprise by Akron he should be able to grab him and use his vastly supieror strength to toss him away and into the air. And while he is in the air he won't be able to dodge the expolison bolt being thrown at him. The resulting exploison should be able to kill or k.o. him then Akron use's his superor sthrenght and hand to hand skill's to fight and k.o. Madam Masque if anyone try's to help her he well throw exploison bolt's to make them keep them from getting in close untill he has dealt with her.

- As soon as the human torch has namor in a flame cage, Maelstrom shall create a peronal force feild around his self that is 7 in's from his body preventing any phyisical or energy damage, and lower the force feild he first put around my team and fire a blast of plasma energy directly at Namor in his weakned state due to the lack of mousitre in his body the blast should be enough to k.o. or kill him.

Twilight & venuscameback's strategy:

Red Ronin hurls his shield at the opposing force that will serve as an assault and a distraction. Red Ronin’s shield generates such immense heat that it can cut through almost anything and given it’s immense size it will likely take out Arkon straight away.
Captain Marvel II,Human Torch and The Collector will likely avoid this attack thanks to their flight capabilities,It’ll just pass through Doorman and Maelstrom will protect himself with a forcefield.

Enchantress erects a shield around the team (excluding Red Ronin) allowing Quasar to focus on his coming attack. Captain Marvel will likely have transformed into some wavelength of radiation and Quasar will force her back into human form using his control over energy.A shocked Captain Marvel falls prey to one of Red Ronin’s giant feet or one of it’s energy blasts.

Quasar reinforces Enchantress’s shields with his own and Enchantress creates a detailed illusion so that it appears The Strangeways members Namor,Baron Zemo and Madam Masque are out from under the shield and running towards the opposing team.
Da Noble Savages team will attempt to take down these undefended targets and that’s when Enchantress teleports herself, Namor and Quasar behind the enemy.
Quasar and Enchantress both let loose with beams of force, knocking out the distracted Maelstrom. Madame Masque and Baron Zemo(who were left behind) start firing at the flying enemies the Human Torch and The Collector.

Namor flies up and easily knocks out The Collector with his superior strength and even though he’s an agile flyer Human Torch will fall since he’s now got Quasar firing beams from his Nega-Bands at him.

The Strangeways train all their long distance attacks on Doorman until he too falls.

You got some neat moves there, DNS, and it's cool that both teams did stuff the other didn't predict.

For example, Enchantress puts up the shield, not Quasar, leaving him free to act. Neat opening move with Maelstrom (temporarily shrinking him down) btw. I think you under-estimate Red Ronin: his armour has withstood punches from Wonderman without a dent, so given his size Captain Marvel will need to work hard to melt him into slag

wow, both great strats, i have tiny bit of difficulty with each strat, but i really have to think about this, im really leaning slightly one way, but im going to wait and see what everyone else has to say.

IMHO If you take Da Noble Savage's opening moves and Twilight/Venus's I think Venus comes out of the scrum on top.

Maelstrom is the biggest hitter on Da Noble's team. He seems to spend the opening rounds putting up shields, shrinking, growing and trying to supress the gravity/kinetic energy of people who never show up. Yeah, Twilight/Venus's strategy for taking him out seems to rely on "He won't expect us to be over HERE, so we'll get the jump on him", but look at Da Noble's strategy: he DIDN'T expect them to be outside his shields (which he is raising/lowering.)

Two good strategies, but DNS's took the win for me. The two strats don't match up well, with both doing completely opposite things, but I liked the Collector's oppening move, very interesting.

well if quasor's not putting up the shield then that's even better that means he totaly unprepred for da collector's attack and should be k.o. by the blast.
plus caption marvel should have more then enough time to take down red ronin. but here's the thing maelstrom's protected in his shield with the rest of the team expecting a tele. attack or drop's the big sheild and has a skin tight shield around him. also since quasor has no personal sheild around him at the start he should be to busy dealing with the collector to do anything about monica. Plus i'm saveing maelstrom for when i really need him I needed him to protect some of the team and hisself for his opeing move and that's what he did.

question what form of energy was captain marvel in. Also if enchantress if able to see inside the shield then she is alowing light in if light can get in then monica as light energy can get in.
