I'm looking for some advice on Soccer games. I'm looking to buy for either the PS2,Gamecube, or DS. If you have any advice on which game to go with, I'd love to hear it.

If you are in the US Winning Eleven, either 7, 8 or 9 is hands down the best soccer there is.

An Excellent Soccer Game for PS2 would be Pro Evolution Soccer 4 or 5

I'd agree with Pro Evo 4, but 5 is shite.

I prefer games where I control the player, not some fancy scripting that doesn't actually do what I want 50% of the time.

Here's a tip:

Get any upcoming FIFA game by Electronic Arts. I like that series because it had plenty of teams (even independents and national teams) and leagues (like the Premier League and MLS). That's my view, btw.

I am not a big soccer guy, but I am enjoying the game alot.

I've heard Winning Eleven is the best soccer game out there, but as far as I'm concerned, World Cup 06 is as good as it gets for me.

It's basic soccer at it's best, and it is a blast to play.
