Well, the first time I can remember circuitry in his helmet being mentioned was in the X-Men vs. the Avengers miniseries- the focus of that mini was a helmet Magneto had on Asteroid M that could basically mentally dominate the world... he'd never used it because Xavier was strong enough to block it, but with Chuck now off in space, he was tempted to use it to eliminate anti-mutant racism, even though he was theoretically reformed. He explained that the helmet had lots of microcircuitry laid throughout the interior.

Then years later he started using the helmet that's psi-proof (IIRC, in response to the movie using it first), and I think it was explained somewhere that it was because of similar circuitry inside the helmet, though I'm not 100% positive about that. Again, it's a theory, but I think there's enough circumstantial evidence pointing in that direction; he certainly never had a psi-proof helmet back in the Silver Age.

It was bizzarre first question was the worst iv ever had. But on the second question i wrote a brillaint essay.

I hate Batman. Your telling me that in all of his fighting Crime no one has shot him in the face? Why not get the best sharpshooter, pay him big big big fucking money and just have him wait for the perfect shot. Put an armor peircing round right between the dam eyes.

As much as I don't like New X-Men I will give them credit, not all death scenes have to envolve something dramatic. Was it Laurie who got the bullet in the side of the head? I mean that's a great death scene.

If he ever stayed still long enough for a sharpshooter to get him in his sights, that might work. But he doesn't, and he's so aware of his surroundings that it'll never happen.

I mean, is it unbelievable? Sure. It's also unbelievable that no one's force-fed Superman a kryptonite sandwich, or that no one caught Spider-Man in a locked room and just shot him in the head. There's no more reason to hate Batman for that than any other superhero, really.

So why else do you hate Batman, Brian? I just ask because he's such an insanely interesting, archetypal character to me, I'm a bit surprised by you saying that. Have you read the classic Batman stories, or seen many episodes of the animated series?

It is the best live action movie. It pisses on Burtons films and does a big yellow, runny shit all over Schumachers.
