Hulk Question

I am not a Hulk guy. In fact, I have just gotten into him with the excellent Planet Hulk storyline. But something occurred to me. I'm sure it has been addressed before, but it seems to me that to the Hulk, Banner would be the monster, wouldn't he? Banner would be the boogeyman that comes along and destroys the Hulk's world. I would even go so far as to say that the Hulk might be as afraid of Banner as Banner is of the Hulk. Has this ever been touched on in a story before? If so, could anyone point me to it?

Hulk hates Banner and often fights with him for control. Pick up the recent Giant Sized Hulk for some examples of their relationship.

Banner and Hulk fight for control constantly, and it's proven several times that the only enemy who can defeat Hulk every time, is Banner.
