I am really enjoying this mini-series. I think that Krueger is doing a good job turning the JLA's world upside down. I also think that Krueger is doing a great job developing these older characters.

I also like Justice because it centers around the JLA team that I read as a little kid. Ray Palmer, Barry Allen, the real Aquaman and the rest. And I certainly liked seeing Ray kick some butt in this issue.

I'm also a big fan of Alex Ross and I think that Justice #6 has some fantastic art.

What I like about this series and this issue is that this is what the JLA should be about. Really epic battles and villains worthy of them. I enjoy how each character isn't some uber-hero, yet still remain fantastic. This series so far has just been plain fun to read and this issue continues the trend.

I recently started collecting Justice #1-6. I have to say this is the best JLA and team book around right now.

I was also surprised to John Stewart, since Alex Ross has a huge crush over Hal Jordan.

I was surpriase to see John too. Knowing how much Alex Ross loves Silver Age characters I didn't expect to see him. I'm wondering why are the Metal Men are in this story as well.

There's always a couple moments in each issue of Justice that make me smack my head and wonder why no one has tried this before. It would be very easy to dismiss Justice as just another masturbatory exercise in Super Friends Nostalgia, but bits like Giganta freaky growth spurts, the banter between Hawkgirl & Hawkman and Hal's sad seemingly hopeless situation inside his ring make this something more for me.

I do like that it's essentially set in the Silver Age but of the Post-Crisis world, so that you have Barry Allen and Captain Marvel at the same time.

And that splash page... my goodness.. .I can't even decide between this and ASS#1

Jim Krueger and Alex Ross should write a Captain Marvel book. Their take on him is brilliant. I loved how he told Superman that he can communicate in space like it was no big deal. "My power comes from the gods, remember?" Ha!

Krueger and Ross have done a great job of coming up with a threat that actually challenges the League. The characters are having to push themselves and try new ideas to come out on top. It's refreshing. And it keeps making me forget the old "heroes always win in the end" rule.

This is one of the best comics on the stands.

Overall the series has been fantastic, but issue 6 didn't really provide any punch. It was weak. Kind of a followup from interesting events from the first 5 issues. I guess you have to get from A-Z, but does "T" have to be so dull?

I agree that the current issue was weaker than the rest, but I do have to say that I would love to see Krueger and Ross write a Wonder Woman story. I still think one of the best things that has come out of this series is his revamp of the Priscilla Rich Cheetah.
I just find it interesting that he made her connected to the gods as well, and made her a dark warrior of Persephone and the underworld, as Diana is of Paradise Island and Athena.

well I am gonna say that I thought the issues 1-2 and somewhat 3 kinda dragged--weighed on by pomposity/grandiosity. 4 and 5 picked it ip considerably.

but this issued involved some fantastic action and promised more. how can you not like ww lasso-ing bats and supes getting thrown into the sun after a 'wink' to condone the event?

and talking gorillas with telepathy and electrodes always rule. always.

I was a bit confused with the whole "Riddler in the cemetary" panels early on, but everything else has been pure magic. I am genuinely concerned for Aquaman's well-being, and I almost had a heart attack when Red Tornado began to dismember himself! There's something about the way this story is being told that is making all of this seem very new and fresh to me - even though many of the concepts being presented are not entirely original. I'm loving it - can't wait for #7!!!!

I like the way Captain Marvel is used to good effect---so much so that you wonder why Aquaman, Green Arrow, etc. are in the main team but Marvel's in the reserves. Showing a friendship between Marvel and Superman was well done, also.---Al

Yes its been good fun so far.

I think the only thing that dissapointed me so far was one of Bruce Wayne's batcomputer files where he says:

"Crime is a choice, a matter of will. Modern sociology is the crime of suggesting that it is not."

I didn't know Bruce Wayne/Batman was such an ignorant, elitist, heartless richy redneck. A detective with blinders on. I'm amazed he could solve any crime with such a simplistic view of a complex world. Or is this just the writer trying to push his own simplistic political views?

Let me reiterate here, that I think that the all-black region that Sinestro sent Green Lantern to, is "The Obsidian Deeps".

The Obsidian Deeps is a region of space created by Alan Moore for a Green Lantern Corps Annual story he wrote a few years back.
