"I Eat Cannibals" by Total Coelu (not really punk, but it's a good song to cover because you can go in so many directions musically with it).

If you're really daring, try to cover a Siouxsie & the Banshees B-side song & try to make it a single such as "We Fall," "Throw Them to the Lions," "There's A Planet in My Kitchen," or my favorite "Congo Conga."
