Let's say something happened and Vision had to find a new Young Avenger. Who would you guys like to see?

I think it would be cool if some teenage powerhouse Atlantean joined the team. The teen could end up being Namor's son that he's been hiding from the world all these years. It would be great to see all the friction that would ensue since for sure, Namor would be totally against his son joining the team.

Areana or however it's spelled wouldn't be a bad choice. Her or the new Scorpion, perhaps Gravity.

They have to go in order.

They started with Hulkling (Hulk), Asgardian (Thor), Iron Lad (Iron Man), and Patriot (Captain America). Then they added Cassie (Giant Man/Ant-Man/Wasp) and Kate (Swordsman/Hawkeye). Then Asgardian became Wiccan (Scarlet Witch), Tommy (Quicksilver) showed up, and Vision formally joined the team.

Roughly speaking, they're going in the order in which the original Avengers added to their team. The next members to join up were Hercules, Black Panther, Black Knight, and Black Widow.

I like the "Young Ares" theory, myself.

Well, the rumor is that Ares will join a major Marvel team. The immediate assumption is that adult Ares will join New Avengers, but it could well be that the adult Ares dies in the current miniseries and his son takes up the name and joins Young Avengers, having left (or been cast out) of Olympus.

I'd be much more in favor of that than adult Ares joining New Avengers.

How about the Stepford Cuckoos? I'd re-name them "Trinity."

...or, we could have the time-lost daughter of Black Panther and Storm.

I think that was the late Namorita.

As for Namor having a son, I think it has been suggested that as a Hybred mutant, he is sterile. But late in his series, they suggested that that had cloned him with Lyria to produce a green-tinted son on the throne of Atlantis.
No word on what's going on since his series ended, though... has there been?

As for the order the Avengers joined, I am sure that Hercules joined for a year, and at the same time they made it formal, they also included Black Widow in about Avengers #46! Then came the Black Panther in #52 or 53 ...the Vision in 57 and the Black Knight was formally added in about 71!
Beyond that, it get's confusing... cause technically, both Wonderman and Swordsman had both joined before being revealed as villians, so ARE the members or not in the early rolecall?

Llyron was seen as part of At'lan'tique, the Atlantean terrorist cell that appeared in the first few issues of New Thunderbolts.

I'd like to see Mattie Franklin join. She's an interesting character that IMHO would work well in a team-setting.

Also, given her history she'd definately have issues with Patriot's former choice of drug habit. Could be an interesting story.

I love the Young Ares theory; LOVE IT! The team needs an arrogant a-hole who only wants to kick tail and take names afterwards as a member. It'd provide for some lively dynamics.

Namorita may look young, but I think she is like fifty.

No. Her "mother/genetic donor", Namora, would be in that age-range, but Nita was actually college-age.

Pietro isnt arrogant, he is just always annoyed, the world moves at a snails pace for him, he litterally has to wait for EVERYTHING i would venture to guess thatd make everyonje a tad pissy

Not accurate...Namorita is much, much older than her New Warrior teammates. She is said to be in her late thirties (one site says 37), which happen to mirror how a college age human would be.

I believe that is X-Factor (volume 1) # 84 that you are refering to.
It is a great character study of each of the team members at the time, including Pietro. It's definintely worth seeking out, even at an premium price!

Actually, Pietro was a very pleasant young man when he first joined the Avengers with his sister Wanda. After a few issues of hanging out with Hawkeye, he got pretty arrogant and even challenged Captain America for leadership of the team. Of course, a bigger threat loomed, and the team had to rally around Cap to save the day. Pietro resumed his nice guy ways... until his dear sister fell in love with an android. Even since then, Pietro has been a big jerk.

That's...certainly a lot of black.
-Nick, who notes that only ONE of them is actually black.

Bill Foster first appeared in Avengers, and years later became the superhero known as Black Goliath.
