Jak and Daxter or Rachet and Clank?

Read the title. So a month or so ago, I got a PS2. I Bought God of War, Kingdom Hearts I and II, and the first Rachet and Clank and Jak and Daxter.I liked both Rachet and Clank and Jak and Daxter trilogies so which trilogy is worth getting? Give me Pros and Cons, if you please. :)

Jak series.
Pros:
Jak II and III have a deeper(and arguably better) storyline than the Ratchet games.
From Jak II on, the games are a lot more mature.
Tess. Rawr!

Cons:
The Gunplay in the Jak games is nowhere near as good as in the Ratchet and Clank series.
Some people didn't like the darker turn the Jak series takes from Jak II onward.
Jak X is a complete and utter change from the previous three games.
Tess gets turned into an Ottsel in Jak III. This is good only if you happen to be Daxter


Ratchet Series
Pros:
Guns. Lots and Lots of Guns.
Superior gunplay to the Jak series. Better if you like more action than jumping.
Online Multiplayer for the later two games in the series. Deadlocked also gives you cooperative Story Mode, too.
Angela Cross, if you happen to not mind fur.

Cons:
The storyline is mostly a joke-lined excuse to shoot stuff.
Humor tends to go more for "that's just wrong" than other types of humor.
The games tend to go further and further from the platforming. Deadlocked contains almost no platforming at all.
Multiplayer doesn't always have the guns you really want to unleash on your friends.

Overall, I have all three main games for both series' plus Ratchet: Deadlocked, and I don't regret getting a single one.

Of the Action Adventure genre, I think Jak errs more to the side of Adventure whereas Ratchet is more Action. I personally enjoy the Jak series more.

If you liked the first Ratchet and Clank you'll like 'em all. Jak II is a huge depature from the first game, so definately try II before buying III.

I liked having all those gadgets in ratchet and clank. Thus, more enjoyable for me.

Jak and Daxter was an honest to god platforming game. I loved it. Jak II was awful. Jak 3 fixed a lot of the problems that two had and was still a fun game.
I didn't like the Ratchet games all too much. too much shooting not enough jumping.
