The most interesting thing i read was, due to the early lack of support for the 360 in japan, the developers are looking into the Wii as one of only two choices.
I think the statement is a bit negative towards the 360, it's doing well in america, and we are a bigger market then japan, but if it's true, im encourager to hear from a top nintendo guy they will have some substantial third party support this time.
The line that worried me was...
"Similarly, a lot of developers continue to operate on what I call "sustainable innovation," in terms of processing power and graphics. Those kinds of developers might not be quite as interested in developing on Wii. "
Which reads to me like "Seriously? Wii ain't gonna be very powerful at all."
We already knew that, but a guy can hope it's being understated, right?
And again, it isn't neccesarily a bad thing, when i think of companies that like to push systems to their limits, Square/enix jumps to mind immedietly, and they are going to working on Wii already.
Thoughts on the rest of it?

RE: it's doing well in america, and we are a bigger market

Doesn't really mean anything. America has a good impression of the 360 and even Microsoft in general. Japan simply doesn't like the X-Box. Actual polls of Japan's consumer public actually showed that the Wii is one of the most anticipated of the next generation game consoles while most people couldn't care less about the 360 over there.

I don't think that link took me where I was supposed to go, Alex.

Was it this one? (http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3151423)

I think it means microsoft won't have problems getting third party support, that's what i ment by it.
In other words, who cares if they bomb in japan if they succed in america?
I don't have a side here or anything, i plan to buy a wii and have no plans to get a 360, but i didn't want it to sound like a microsoft bashing post.
