So, why on earth would he actually go to some film school and start making better movies... when he can solve any argument by trading punches with anyone who criticizes his work ?!?

Oh wow. Anything to make him stop making another movie ... Alone in the Dark was simply horrid; I saw it without knowing who Uwe Boll was and I could barely contain fits of laughter at the extremely horrible way in which it was made.

... and on a related note, I'd like to let everyone know that somethingawful.com has put up a great little article thingy on Uwe Boll.

I hurt my sides reading it. It's funny because it's true.

He's not in it to make good movies. He's in it to use them as a tax dodge for his investors, exploiting a loophole in German law.

So . . . well, what do you expect?

I heard that that loophole recently closed.

As for the doctorate, obviously German Universities are now giving out degrees in ineptitude.

Not saying he's any good, but let's be honest, like a House of the Dead movie was going to be any good, anyways.

It is. I checked his bio at Wikipedia and it said that the loophole expired, which explains why he choosed now to get his panties in a bunch over people bashing his movies.

I love Uwe Boll. I thank the lord that I live in the same time as him.

Reading the reviews of his movies on AICN...and then later hearing about how batshit insane his responses are...have provided me so many opportunities for laughter that I can't help but feel good about his existence.

I hope he makes 100 more movies before I die. Doesn't cost me anything, I sure as hell don't watch them. I just want another 100 reviews hilariously picking them apart.

Bloodrayne could have been. The game was kinda neat.

If Paul Anderson had gotten Bloodrayne he could have made the movie watchable just like the Resident Evil films. It would't be as good as Blade or even Underworld but it would have still been a decent film in Andersons hands compared to what it became in Boll's hands.

The sequel was enjoyable. And it didn't have the budget or "star quality" the first did.

Honestly, I dislike Paul Anderson more than I do Boll. Because I've actually paid to be horribly disappointed by Anderson's movies.

Mortal Kombat was good. Mortal Kombat II almost killed me. Th two Resident Evils bored me to death. Alien/Predator made me want to kill HIM.

His commentaries are supposed to be hilarious. That's the only reason I'd ever rent a movie or his. To watch that.

It's tempting, but I think before long it would become infuriating, because HE doesn't get the joke. For me, someone's gotta be in on it for it to be funny.

Now, if his movies came with someone ELSE doing the commentary for them... :)

I'm halfway through it and I already had to take a break to literally rotfl. (except not on the actual floor). The picture captions alone are pure gil.
