There have been many Batman animated series throughout the years, but the most obscure is the 1970s Batman show which was a near-exact redo of the 1960s series with one exception: The producers have added Bat-Mite to the mix.

Today, EstraGand has included a review of one the 1970s Batman toon episodes that featured Bat-Mite. Given with the EstraGand tradition, it featured some funny stuff involving Bat-Mite riding Batgirl's ass!

You can find this review at: www.estragand.com/comics/batmite.asp

Do you have anything to tell us about this series!

A couple years ago I saw repeats of this show, I think it was early saturday morning or something...anyways it was fun, a little goofy though. One thing worth noting. Batman and Robin were voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward.

I certainly haven't forgotten it.

It was this cartoon-- along with the other Filmation superhero cartoons of the era (love those 70s shows) and the Superfriends-- which fostered my love for superheroes, well before I ever saw a comic book.

An episode of this series has included in the 'Saturday Morning Cartoons of the 1970s' DVD!

The thread is 2 years old. I have no idea why JAP felt the need to resurrect it.
