That's what http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0606/17/index.htm had to say:
The Amazing Screw-On Head, an animated series based on Mike Mignola's Dark Horse comic book, is being targeted to begin on July 27 on Sci Fi Channel, The Continuum has learned.

The series will likely launch on the network's Pulse web site before going to television.

Sci Fi has yet to confirm the launch date.

Announced nearly a year ago, Amazing Screw-On Head is a half-hour comedy based on the exploits of one of history's great unsung heroes, voiced by Paul Giamatti. A secret agent working for the U.S. government, Screw-On Head is a robot that screws his head onto a wide variety of bodies, and battles those who threaten our civilization.

In the pilot, Screw-On Head faces off against his arch nemesis (and former manservant), Emperor Zombie, played by David Hyde Pierce.

Molly Shannon plays Screw's love interest, Patience the Vampire. Rounding out the cast are Patton Oswalt as Mr. Groin, Screw's faithful manservant, and Mindy Sterling, who plays the dual roles of zombie henchwoman Aggie and Geraldine.

The pilot was written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Chris Prynoski.

Stellar voice cast of seasoned veterans, however, I still remain skeptical as to how this series will look and feel once it premieres. I am currently cautiously optomistic! :)
