With the Green Latern Franchise actually becoming pretty popular the past couple of years. With GL Corp, Ion, and Green Latern becoming very good sellers, I wanted to see what the green latern rogue gallery looked like. I have some knowledge of their villians, but not complete. So here is a rundown, fill in what I'm missing.

-Sinestro

-Parallax

-Nero

-King Shark: More Aquaman then GL??

-Black Hand

-Mongul: More DCU?

-Major Force

-Manhunters

-Cyborg Superman: More DCU?

-Fatality

-Qwardians

There a ton more. Fill in what I'm missing.

King Shark is an Aquaman villain. The Shark is a GL villain, who also fought Aquaman and deposed him as King of Atlantis at one point. King Shark and The Shark are two different characters though.

Mongul & Cyborg Superman are both Superman villains who blew up Coast City, so they've become part of GL's Rogues Gallery.

There's plenty of other great GL villains though.

Star Sapphire, Queen of the Zamarons (the female counterparts of the Guardians) and alter ego of Carol Ferris (Hal's ex-girlfreind & boss)

Hector Hammond, big headed super-genius/telepath/telekenetic/fanboy

Sonar, Sultan of Super-Sonic Sound

Evil Star & his Starlings

Doctor Polaris, Master of Magnetism

Krona, Renegade Guardian of the Universe

Nekron, Lord of the Undead

Goldface, armored powerhouse

Major Disaster, who reformed and joined JLElite

The Tattooed Man, the first one reformed but a second just appeared

Doctor Light, whose powers were enhanced when Hal trapped him inside his lantern

The Psions, amoral reptilian scientists created by the Guardians

Eclipso, former Wrath of God turned God of Vengeance

The Predator, ancient Maltusian/Qwardian demon parasite

Sector 3600, a mad god that wiped out entire galaxies

Those are all the biggies...

There's like 2 star sapphires ,the original Carol who isn't one anymore (i think) and the upstart who was killed by the spectre not too long ago in that DOV special.

As for Sonar , wasn't there like 2 of them as well ? The original with the tacky costume and the new guy with some metal bits on his body and face.

I actually enjoyed the new Tattooed Man in the GL #10 (i think..). I don't know what the OG's powers were, but I like how the new guy could use give life to his tattoos and he can add more just in case he got bored! Definitely digging enemies that reflect a twisted version of GL's powers. (Star Sapp, Sinestro, Tattooed Man)

I think both Mongul & Cyborg (H. Henshaw) definitely deserve to be on GL's rogues. Too much history to be ignored, and since they're both space-faring baddies, no excuse for them not to run into GL.

I thought this was the third tatooed man; when did the second one reform? And Goldface- did he ever become a Flash villain, or just retire?

I thought goldface reformed and became like a workers union head or something.

Yes, there were two Star Sapphires, but one is now dead.

There are also two Sonars, but the connection between the one Hal fought and the one Kyle fought has never been established.

Yep, Goldface became a Union head in Keystone City...

There have been multiple versions of the Tatooed Man out there, but they all stemmed from the same guy, Abel Tarrant. Some were killed, some disappeared to parts unknown. The new guy is apparently unrelated to Tarrant.

Don't overlook Starro the Star Conquerer to be a GLC villian in the near future... heres a thought: What if the Star Conquerer landed on Mogo?

Nah , Starro the conqueror should stayed as a JLA foe although it could be interesting to have him appeared in Green Lantern corps and have him control half of the corps and have friend against friend.
Hal was once "starred" and controlled by Starro back in the classic JLA days. Love those issues , 189-190, all 13 active members of the JLA were involved.

King Shark and The Shark are two different characters thoughIsn't King Shark pretty much exclusively a Superboy (Connor Kent) villain? I don't think he's interacted with Aquaman until recently. Even now, he's more of an ally to the new Aquaman than an enemy (though it'd probably be a different story once the old Aquaman returns, on account of that whole "stab you in the chest" misunderstanding they had in INFINITE CRISIS.)

Yeah, I think you're right. King Shark first appeared in Superboy back when he was living in Hawaii. However, I'm pretty sure King Shark appeared in Aquaman at some point, maybe during an Aquaman/Superboy team-up.
