You know what I like about the medical dramas on TV right now? They each fill a diffrent role. Unlike all the procedurals out there, they are not carbon copies of each other.

ER deals with the most realistic cases. It is the procedural medical drama

Scrubs is the comedic side of medecine

Grey's Anatomy focuses on the relationships of the characters

House deals with the bizarre cases in the medical world, plus it has biting sarcasm.

They are all really good for different reasons, and you can pick the one you like best. Personally I only watch Grey's Anatomy on TV, but I watch both Scrubs and ER on DVD and I enjoy them all.
