I think it's on CBS, and it stars Dennis (Yeah, I can be Prez of the U.S.A. on 24 and still do cell phone commercials; what about it?) Haysbert, and Robert (Duchovny's got nothing on my X-Files episodes; I owned when he left.) Patrick.

It's about a special forces unit not linked to any american agency that fights bad guys around the world, and so on.

I'm just wondering if it's any good. It has some decent names linked to it, and the DVD's already being prepared.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'm not, mainly because I missed the first ep. I love Mamet though, and Dennis Haysbert was the star of the first project I worked on out of college, and I try to catch his stuff, though I've had better luck with film, than TV.

it's entertaining. we watch it at work. what's strange about the show is that it's two-in-one. each episode focuses on one of the Unit's missions while also giving a separate plot to the wives of the special forces guys. sounds kind of goofy but it's necessary to keep the show somewhat lighthearted. there are a lot of really good actors in the cast, too. btw, Robert Patrick kicks serious @$$ as a supporting character.

Yes. Yes he does. His little brother's the singer for Filter.
Aside from James Caan in Equalizer, and the dude playing the Predator in the first one, Robert Patrick whupped Ahhhhhnuld's butt.

His performance was the only one I enjoyed in Walk The Line. Actually, he was the only thing I liked about that movie, period. I felt the whole thing was a let down to the man in black.

Did anyone ever see that one movie Johnny cash did where he was a pool hustler. The Baaron and the Kid. I saw it on DVD for $6. Wondering if I should bother.

I fell in love with the show after watching the last half of the first episode. I think it's well written and well acted. It was probably my favorite new drama of the season.
