This is quite a general question,so I hope I can get at least a few suggestions for a good tabletop game,in particular any involving super heroes, or perhaps simply a good tabletop strategy game.
Id love to play something that doesnt require a controller and staring at a screen for once!;)

I'm guessing cards count here, so I'm going to vouch for Versus. I haven't really played it yet, but my friend is getting me into it, and the play mechanics look pretty interesting.
It's like Magic, but with characters you actually care about!

Yeah, I play versus, it pretty cool but,
Heroclix is the must have tabletop game, and it most deffinatelty involves superheros. Dude heroclix rules, you should deffinately get into it.
Here are some examples of the pieces you play with:

The game covers pretty much all Marvel and DC heroes, and many Indy ones.

If you're looking for something along the lines of a tabletop RPG, Mutants & Masterminds (http://www.mutantsandmasterminds.com/) might be what you're looking for.

Yeah, I'd like to get into Clix too but,
1) I don't know many others who play and
2) $$.

I knew no one who played at first, i got a couple of mates to get a starter pack ,we just played a few fun games, picking up the rules as we went along. I was also surprised how many people played at my local store.
As for price, there are loads on ebay for low prices.

There's a game called Super Munchkin that you might enjoy. The box contains everything you need to play. Just grab a few friends, open box, and have fun.
It's a card game of random silliness. You fight monsters, collect treasure, increase levels, and stab your buddies in the back at every oppotunity.
Best thing is if Super Munchkin isn't silly enough, you want to go even sillier by adding Munchkin Fu and/or Star Munchin. Watch your Techno Alien Superhero with a Super Flashy Power Ring take on Hong Kong Kong wearing a Hong Kong Sarong smoking a Hong Kong Bong.
There's also Munchkin and Munchkin Bites. Almost all have expansion packs with more cards of even more random silliness. Any one (or all) of them is great fun.
