Well is anyone else going to check out the new TNT series tonight? It caught my interest and I'm hoping that I will finally have something new to watch over the summer.

I loved the show. The character, Wyatt, is the exact opposite of Tommy Gavin on RESCUE ME. I like to see how low Tommy's life will sink, but I want this guy's life to flourish. Maybe because he's young.

Excellent first episode. They got me at the end when the girl flat lined in the ambulance. After Wyatt's line about not dying on his bus she flatlined and I was like, "Sorry, not that kinda show." Five seconds later, a pulse, and it is that kinda show, which made me happy for some reason :)

Wow...I hated it. The dialogue was trying SO hard to be hip and the characterization seemed really cliched. I wanted to like this-- as an EMT I'm glad to see that job represented front & center-- but I just felt like characters were being stupid. The whole hating doctors thing felt real lame, and while I'm sure some Paramedics feel that way, it just felt over done. I turned it off about 45 minutes into the episode.

I didn't catch the whole thing, but I was pretty pleased by what I saw. My biggest problem was the chemistry between the two guys, or lack thereof. I'll watch another episode or two, see if it grabs my interest.
