Finding an editor?

Hey, all. I know there are several writers here, so I'm asking for your help. I recently completed a short story collection that will probably never see publication, but I'd like to start the ball rolling.

Well, in order to do that, I need to find an editor but I have no idea where to begin. Does anybody have any suggestions?
