Looks like we never started one of these for last week. Here's what has been keeping me busy recently:

Teen Titans #36 - OK, I might as well admit - I'm a Tony Daniel fanboy and was very happy when he was named as the ongoing pencilier for this book. I like the subtle changes that he has made to his art style, inking from Kevin Conrad is a big help, still don't like the new costume for Wonder Girl, but am enjoying this book once again. It feels like as if this book is finally moving forward after treading water waiting for IC to finish.

Green Lantern #11 - Wow, best art I've ever seen from Ivan Reis!Figured that the art would go downhill once Pacheco left, but boy was I wrong. I didn't care for his work on the Rann/Thanagar War, but he has a different inker now and the art looks absolutely beautiful. One of the best things to come out of Rebirth, the ongoing series and GL:Corps series was the reintroduction of Guy Gardner. He is back to being one of my favorite characters at DC right now.

Catwoman #55 - Still my favorite OYL book. I love the attention to detail regarding the artist's rendition of Selina Kyle's body after birth.

Birds of Prey #94 - What this book be nearly as interesting if Gail Simone wasn't writing it? Each time she introduces new characters to the gang, I'm always a little skeptical as I'm a traditionalist and still would prefer the Oracle/Black Canary dynamic. The art for the book is solid, but not very exciting.

Savage Dragon #126 - I must be drinking the SD kool-aid as I'm starting to think that Erik's lettering is the perfect compliment for this art (as I surmised, it took me a couple of issues to come around to it). For some reason, I'm a big fan of the colored lettering inside of the word balloons. A fun story with what looks like a clever way for SD to regain his healing powers.

52 Week 3 & 4 - Uh oh, I'm starting to find myself most interested in the Booster Gold, Steel & Montoya/Question storylines. To read all 52 issues is going to be a big financial investment, but I'm enjoying the weekly aspect of it so far.

Superman/Batman #26 - I got the black cover. A fun story with an amazing creative cast. It's a shame that Sam Loeb never got to chance to see his story in print.

The Thing #7 - *Sniff* only one more issue left and once again Dan Slott hits it out of the park. A fun all in one story again. Would have liked to have seen Andrea DiVito's take on Hercules.

Amazing Spider-man #532 - already discussed my dislike of the cover design in another thread. Ron Garney on art - yay! Heavy on Civil War plot with not a whole of action.

Since the last thread I've read:

Villains United - Not terrible, but not special. Better than Day of Vengeance, but not nrealy as good as The OMAC Project. I've only got The Rann Thanagar War to be ready for Infinite Crisis

Battle of the Planets v1: Trial by Fire, Battle of the Planets v2: Blood Red Sky and Battle of the Planets v3: Kill all Monsters - These are great fun. The third volume lacked the momentum because it includes some specials which weren't as intersting as the main story, but in general I'm very happy with this update.

Scot Pilgrim's Precious Little Life - This was fun - and a lot better than Sharknife which always seems to get mentioned in the same breath. A little too quick to read though. I think I'll hold out for cheap copies via eBay and the like.

Kinetic - Very good indeed. Between this and his run on Batgirl, Kelly
Puckett has confirmed himself (herself?) as a writer I'll always watch out for. As an aside, this was $10 for 8 issues. I can't imagine DC expected it to be a huge seller and there are no further volumes so it can't be a loss leader to bring in customers for later volumes (as Vertigo tend to do) so I can only imagine that DC make a profit bringing all of their TPBs out for this price.

JLA: Crisis of Conscience - Quite fun if a bit light. Jeoff Johns on a good day for my tastes

2020 Visions - This was pretty good. I find Jaimie Delano tends to dissapoint me, but none of the four stories iin this were bad and two of them (the first and last) I really liked.
