Hi I'm new to the forums and I'm an aspiring comic book artist. Although still in school I am drawing daily. I know a tatoo artist who will give me corrective critism on my work. Anyway for the future I am thinking about going to the Joe Kuberts school of cartoon and graphic art. I would like to work on dc and marvel titles. Do you think this would be a good school or are there better ones out there? Thanks in advance and if you wouldn't mind answering the occasional question now and then it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there... welcome.:D

I think that the Kubert School would be a great way to go, if you can swing it. I mean, they've got Joe Freaking KUBERT as the founder and instructor-- and from what I hear, his sons Adam and Andy teach there as well from time to time. The Kubert School has graduated so many people that have gone on to become working professionals in the comics industry. It sounds like a good plan to me...!

Like any school, you can only get out what you put into it. Due to financial issues, I was only able to attend for one year but really think it was a great learning experience and highly recommend it to anyone who's serious about drawing comics or cartooning of any kind.
