Hey everyone,
I had the pleasure of picking this up and I have to tell you that it is a must buy. It's a fun Robin/ Superboy story and it features a whole bunch of great writers and artists. I loved like every page. The end story is amazing. I cried after reading it. It's a very touching comic, truly.
Support this issue and honor Sam Loeb and help out the fund that this issue's proceeds will go to.
P.S. There are 2 covers and they are awesome! I got them both.

I'm man enough to admit that I had to stop in the middle of "Sam's Story" and collect myself.
It was fun trying to figure out the team for each page, though I'm certainly glad they listed them at the end B)

I had some problems with the dialogue in a few pages but it was a fun issue overall. The banter between Robin and Superboy was great especially during the hot tub scene.
Sam's story was really touching. The letter at the end of the story was very heartfelt.

I really wanted to support this issue, so I bought it--just like the rest you. I, however, found it to be just awful. The only part I liked was Sam's Story. The Superboy/Robin stuff was just terrible. Of course, I don't regret the purchase or anything like that. This cause is still a good one.

"Sam's Story" gave me chills as I read it.

If I compare this issue to the likes of other books around it, it's lacking. But considering who wrote it and at what age, that he had other things going on in his life and what it turned into as a collaborative effort, it's really well done. It's easy to talk big about Ultimates Season II and Invinicible, but considering the ages and experience of creative teams on such books, it doesn't make sense to compare this to them.
The Robin/Superboy relationship was really displayed very well here and it really made me wish Conner was in the TT animated series. I may have watched it, then, even with the ridiculous art.
God bless the Loeb family.

I was impressed on how well the art was able to progress the story well even though it was done by like 10 other artists. Also the writing was top notch.

Normally I'm not a big fan of one shot issues or collaberative issues with a huge number of artists and writers. This issue was the exception.
I thought that the Robin/Superboy story was well done. The dialogue was funny and entertaining. And Sam's Story was very touching. It really got to me. This is a great issue. I hope people check it out.

This issue was a beautiful tribute, between "Sam's Story" and the tribute bookends to Sam's actual plot (which was a nice little story besides).
Having so many writers trying to fit their comedy into each page made Tim and Connor seem a little more "Hope and Crosby" than usual, but much of it was actually funny. I think Whedon wins the prize for best joke, with Robin silently holding up his bullet-riddled cape in response to Hiro saying they were never in danger.

This was an excellent story. The Conner/Robin banter was great, just how these teen titans should sound! Good jokes, great art, and a touching endstory. I'm glad I bought it.

So did Sam really write this story?
If so, I guess editorial kinda shoehorned it in to fit in with post-IC and Conner's death.
Considering his age and relative inexperience, the story wasn't bad at all.
Loved the art.
And yeah, "Sam's Story" was really well done.
Good issue.

Going by the unused Pat Lee cover printed within, I think Sam just wrote a Robin/Superboy teamup, and Loeb/McGuinnis just created some bookend pages to link the story to IC and the books overall tribute theme.
Very well done, actually.

Actually he Ploted it. I think the part with Robin and Superboy going up against all those things with the new Toyman was what he plotted. Then again he may have known that Superboy was going to die and plotted that in as well.

It was excellent for me. Loved it--although some of the art pages were not very well done.
The banter reminded me of their old Young Justice days. Like this might be the best comic book written by 10 different writers ever.

Thus a fitting end...to a promising rising star.
