It's great. It's mutant comic noir at its finest.

It's my favorite monthly comic. If you haven't read it yet, check out the Madrox mini (the TPB has been out for some time now). If you like it, you'll love X-Factor.

I'd rather see'm both on X-books.
Peter David's current X-Factor reads like Peter David's 1991 X-Factor. The only missing teammates are Polaris & Havok. But he's got M, Rictor, Siryn & Layla Miller to fill up the space with the original new X-Factor members of Wolfsbane, Madrox, & Strong Guy...
its of the my fave current titles
totally worth pickin up

Peter David is turning Brian Michael Bendis' deus ex machina Layla Miller into an interesting character.

If you don't get it, I will come to your house and beat you up, step on your dog, and make passes at your mother.
So yes, you should get it.

I read the first four issues. Maybe five. Can't remember.
Anyway, it was kinda boring. Everyone runs around quipping back and forth while not much goes on. It certainly isn't the worst comic out there, but it isn't the best either.

I've been following the series and eventually I started to feel exactly the same way although I think it started out alot stronger than where it is now. I just don't have any interest in reading it sometimes or maybe I just want more action from the title.

Well, Quicksilver and Civil War are central issues in the next issue, as well as an appearance by the Astonishing crew. That should spice things up about....
But in regards to the topic, of course annihaltor should get it. Things are about to heat up between X-Factor and Singularity Investigations.:)
Plus, the X-Factor crew had a great blend of characters with a writer who certainly knows how to utilize them.
Go get it man and thank us all later....

I tried it for 6 issues. It's really boring and a waste of good characters. The stories are boring the characters are 'flat' and the art is awefull. A waste of money.

This book is definitely a picker-upper. I don't think you should have to pick up the back issues to enjoy it.

Possibly. You'd definately understand and enjoy it more. I'm sure the first trade will be out soon, and I'd definately recommend it. The issues have recaps at the beginning so it will only take a couple of issues to get into the swing of things.
IMO it is the best X-title out at the moment.
(Except Cable & Deadpool which rocks cocks)

It's a great book.
Those who don't like it, also hate kittens and Nextwave.
Would you trust them?

HELL NO!!!!
Personally I'd castrate them to stop them from breeding.
Or possibly kill them until they were dead.

Start with the Madrox trade.
Thats all well and good, but it isn't necessary.
I think he was asking because he DOESN'T want to buy more stuff than he needs to to understand whats going on.
I may well be wrong though. :)

It's very entertaining, and it's old school in a way. I'd definitely reccomend it.

I adore both my kitten and Nextwave. And I don't like X-Factor.
Since you have called my honor into question I will now be forced to rip off your leg and beat you to death with it.
(see? I told you I like Nextwave)

Pick it up now! I just picked up the whole run so far last week and read them all straight. I don't what it is I like about this series I just find it extremely well done. Issue 5 is my favorite issue so far. I will say this though I don't like the new artist as much as the first artist.
