The Lucky One

Well, at long last the World Tour is in the home stretch, with just one more issue to go after this. Even I'll admit it's probably dragged on too long, even though I have enjoyed seeing most of the alternate worlds again. Here's what happens this issue:
The Exiles return to the Panoptichron, where Heather explains her contingency plan- when Proteus tried to return to Earth-616, she used the Palace's equipment to trick him into landing on Counter-Earth instead, the Heroes Reborn earth that's on the opposite side of the sun from the "regular" earth in universe 616. Proteus encounters the Young Allies (616 Jolt from the Thunderbolts, Heroes Reborn Bucky, and some other random people) and convinces them the Exiles are the bad guys. Again. Meanwhile, the Exiles go back to the Squadron Supreme earth and "borrow" their brainwashing equipment, which Dr. Spidey modifies into a helmet (that incidentally looks exactly like the one Beast once used on Dark Phoenix). Blink has started calling Sabretooth "Victor" instead of "Mister Creed," which he doesn't like. Sabretooth and Longshot go to Counter-Earth and track down Proteus/Morph by his lack of a scent, but are ambushed and taken out by the Young Allies. Blink teleports the rest of the team in, but with Longshot down, Proteus is free to reveal himself as the bastard he is and starts doing his reality-bending thing. Except... Young Allies O and Kay (*sigh*) reveal themselves as "the face of Order and Chaos" and tell Proteus his interference has tipped the cosmic scales and caused Counter-Earth to be judged. Or something. They and Proteus disappear, the Young Allies realize the Exiles are the good guys, but they can no longer communicate with the Panoptichron... where the bugs tell Heather that Proteus's presence on Counter-Earth has caused the "temporal scanners" to recommend destroying it. Dun-dun-DUN.
Thoughts:
-So Proteus can muck with Longshot as long as he's unconscious? That's weird. I'd have thought his luck would keep him safe when he's knocked out, like Green Lantern's ring. On the other hand, since he's getting taken out like a chump left and right these days, it's clear his luck is not what it once was. Whether that's an intentional plot element (since his luck only works when he thinks he's doing the right thing, and Mojo has mucked with his knowledge of right and wrong lately) or just sloppiness, I couldn't say.
-Jolt looks... old. Man, she used to be a hottie on the Thunderbolts, but never mind.
-I know it's a minor thing, but it just contributes to a feeling of overall laziness when they have Longshot's wrong eye glowing again, and this time not in the issue itself, but on the cover. Where are the editors?
Anybody else have any comments on this issue?
