I was debating whether or not to buy this when it came out. Now, I think I'll save my $15.

I didn't read the spoiler story review, but I read the other bits and it sounds a little bit like sour grapes to me. So far the plot didn't sound that wacky, compared to other Superman Animated stories!
It's not surprising to read that the plot was probably aimed more for the kids. Maybe he was overall mad it didnt' have more of an adult feel like most Timm Animated cartoons?
Anyway, I still plan on purchasing it.....I guess I can always come back later here and warn everyone else if it's that bad!

Well this confirms the fears I had ever since I saw the trailer. Definitely will not be buying this, at least not right away. I need to save my money for volume 3 of Superman:TAS (which actually does Superman perfectly) and volume 2 of Justice League.
I think the fact that Tim Daily is doing the voice of Superman again is enough of an incentive for me to track this down.
Now if only there was an option on the Justice League DVD to get Tim Daily to over-dub all the Superman lines, I'd be sorted.
