View Full Version : Book trading...??

I would like to resurrect the trading thread. I'm assuming, book board or not, that selling things will still be prohibited on the boards. But I'm sure lots of people have something they want to get rid of, and I'd wager that someone else wants it, and they just might have something you need. So let's see what we can trade, folks.

The Rules:

1) No selling. There's no wiggle room on this one. If a poster tries to sell something rather than trade, the post will be deleted immediately.

2) Even though this is a comic board, posters aren't limited to trading just comics. You can list comics, CCGs, trading cards, posters, magazines, music, movies, toys...or anything else you can think of. I'm sure somebody has something you need.

3) Post your have/want lists here, and conduct your trades via private messages.

4) List good traders if you'd like, but that's not a requirement.

5) Even though there isn't money changing hands, you're still going to have to pay for shipping, so minors should get a parent's permission before doing anything.

And remember, NO SELLING!!!!!!!!!

If anyone remembers any rules that I failed to put up, just let me know and I'll edit the post.

Now have fun!!

As stolen from Rob R...

I am currently searching for several books including:

"Blood Meridian"...Cormac McCarthy...but then everyone is looking for that ;)

"Gardens of the Moon"...Stephen Ericksen...

"Knife of Dreams"...Robert Jordan...I know it just came out but thought someone might have it and want to get rid of it!!

"Underworld"...by Don Delillo

"A Clash of Kings" or "A Storm of Swords"...George RR Martin

Any number of Stephen King but in paperback only...

So...

Can anyone help me out...

I have a few of the books you're looking for Ta2grrl, but I haven't read any of them yet, sorry.

I went on an insane book-buying binge recently. Let me say, a good idea would be to check out any Goodwill stores that may be in your area. I guarantee you'll find a few of the books on your list for next to nothing.

There is a generalized trading thread on the Community forum. Therefore, maybe it would be better if this thread was reserved for trading books and not other items.

For comic-books, you'd be better off posting your list on the Comm (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=630) board, sparos.
