Which Marvel B and C character series excited you when you read the first issue? At that time why do you think it did? Also when you leave a reply please post a pic of the first issue of the book your talking about if it wasn't done previously.
Okay, my first issue would have to be SleepWalker cus I thought it was neat how he would warp things with his eye beams. I think the character was something really different compared to the type of characters Marvel had back then. Although Rick Sheridan was more of the usual teen hero character I thought the characters brought a good contrast in the book. Plus, I thought that first issue cover was darn right freak.

Sleepwalked was pretty damn cool. He seems very original to me still. What's he being used for today?
I was very excited reading Darkhawk #1. It was such a great series for the first 25 issues.

The coolest thing about Dark Hawk was his costume and early on in the book there was the mystery of what did the face look like under the helmet that had me coming back monthly for more.

yep. Darkhawk reigned me in as well. That was the first series I ever read from #1 and on. Every other title I had read up until that point had been ongoing for nearly 30 years (FF, Thor, Avengers, Amazing, etc)

Next issue on the agenda is Deathlok. This was the first black comic character besides Storm that I actually enjoyed reading. Back in the early 90's I think it is safe to say this version of Deathlok was more popular then Black Panther at the time. Some great stories where Deathlok goes on a search for his human body. Deathlok tended to take on drug dealers and cybernetic Marvel Villains. I'm not really sure what happend to this version of Deathlok things were sketchy at the end of the series. Anyway here are 2 covers to the first mini that introduced the character and then the ongoing series. Also you gotta admit that nice shiny cover was sure an eye catcher. This is one gimmick cover that I think was done right.

Todays issue is Night Watch. To this day I dont know why I bought this book. Maybe I thought it was a Spawn comic, or I was hypnotized by the foil cover. The whole deal here is some guy gets ahold of some mysterious robot gauntlets. This is one book i can say i have nothing good to say about.
