It's one of those good ol' giganto Previews weeks!
Previews Vol XVI #6
DC COMICS
52 Week #3, $2.50
I'm going to give this series 10~12 issues before passing judgement.
Birds Of Prey #94, $2.99
No matter who the artist is, I loves me some Gail Simone writing BOP!
Blue Beetle #3, $2.99
Guest artist time already?
Catwoman #55, $2.99
My favorite OYL book.
Checkmate #2, $2.99
I like Rucka spy books, but this one may not be for me.
Crisis Aftermath The Battle For Bludhaven #4 (Of 6), $2.99
I'm a couple of issues behind already. Will finish when the mini is completed.
Green Lantern #11, $2.99
A little late but I need my Geoff Johns fix!
Teen Titans #36, $2.99
Tony Daniel art! More Geoff Johns! Hopefully, I'll start to like this makeshift team soon.
MARVEL COMICS
Exiles #81, $2.99
Paul Pelletier or Tony Caliafiore? My like/dislike of this issue will depend on the artist.
New Avengers #19, $2.99
The Collective!
Wait for Trade
Loveless Vol 1 A Kin Of Homecoming TPB, $9.99 - I know that it's already collected but I made note of it so I can remember to add it to my wish list. Azzarello definitely reads better in trades.
Nextwave Agents Of Hate - HC has been solicited so I hope to get on the TPB bandwagon soon.

This is my plan for tomorrow:
BLUE BEETLE #3 $2.99
Not sure if I am getting this. Who is the fill-in artist this month?
SKYE RUNNER #2 $2.99
There is a Garza cover and a J Scott Campbell cover.
SKYE RUNNER VARIANT COVER #2 $2.99
Jim Lee 1:10 variant
TEEN TITANS #36 $2.99
I like this!
ETERNALS SKETCHBOOK $1.99
Romita Jr sketchy goodness. Count me in!
NEW AVENGERS #19 $2.99
POWERS #18 (MR) $2.95
Thinking about dropping these two. Isn't it like a mortal sin to drop two Bendis titles?
SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN #26 $2.99
Is this the issue with Clayton Crain art?
WOLVERINE #42 $2.99
If I could buy only one comic tomorrow this would be the one! It seems like only yesterday they announced that Humberto would be drawing Wolverine! Snikt Snikt Baby!

Feels like I havent posted in forever!
Batman #653 - I'm self trading this with Detective, and I'll read it at once. Hopefully its good, because the Winick arc ended horribly in my opinion.
Catwoman #55- Will Pheifer is the man. I wish that he was writing more books. I dont think DC realizes how good he is. I would certainly not be buying Catwoman if it wasnt for him. Heck, I didnt even buy it when Brubaker was writing it.
Green Lantern #11
Loveless #7 Vertigo - I need to read the last 3 issues and then decide if I'm going to keep buying this. Love Frusin's art, but the story has left me unenthused so far.
Daredevil 85 - Brubaker and Lark can do no wrong.
Iron Man #8 - I havent read #7 yet, I'm very leery of the writers....
New Avengers $19 - I finally broke down and added this to my pull list, and now I'm thinking of dropping it already. Havent liked this arc or Deodato's pencils so far.
Nextwave #5 - Love this book! I'm glad to see that its coming out on a timely basis.
Wolverine #42 - Will check this out. I used to hate Ramos's pencils, and now I think they're great. Dunno what happened. And I liked Guggenheim's 3 issue story on Aquaman a year ago, so I'll check this out.
BTW, is anybody else annoyed by DC and Marvel making every book 2.99? I am.
And, I just got a great score- Amazon is selling Absolute Dark Knight Returns for $62, and I had a $25 gift certificate. This makes me very happy. :)

I haven't had a week this big in quite some time. Let's go down the laundry list:
AARDVARK-VANAHEIM/WIN-MILL PRO
Following Cerebus #8, $3.95
I'm still waiting for the "In Praise of Sim's Lettering" article, but I'm not holding my breath. There are a few pages' worth of comics promised for this issue.
DC COMICS
52 Week #3, $2.50
Blue Beetle #3, $2.99
Legion Of Super Heroes Vol 2 Death Of A Dream TPB, $14.99
Loveless Vol 1 A Kin Of Homecoming TPB, $9.99
I can narrow this down a tad. I still haven't read 52 #1, so I think this will be the last one that I buy. If I can't force myself to start reading the series this week, I never will. That said, it's really friggin' cool that DC is posting Keith Giffen's breakdowns for each issue on-line now. That's an invaluable resource.
I still haven't read LEGION Volume 1, so I think I'll skip this one.
And I still haven't read BLUE BEETLE #1, so maybe I'll stop buying it, too. I need to sit myself down and force me to read it soon.
But I'm definitely looking forward to reading LOVELESS!
FANTAGRAPHICS BOOKS
Comics Journal #276, $9.95
Terry Moore interview. Whoo-hoo! I hope we get lots of behind the scenes of self-publishing in the 1990s tid-bits. That would be cool.
GEMSTONE PUBLISHING
Carl Barks Greatest Ducktales Stories Vol 1 TPB, $10.95
Uncle Scrooge #354, $6.95
Walt Disneys Comics And Stories #669, $6.95
Clearly, the book of the week is DUCKTALES. Whoo-hoo!
MARVEL COMICS
Black Widow Things They Say About Her TPB, $15.99
Daredevil #85, $2.99
Fantastic Four A Death In The Family, $3.99
Nextwave Agents Of Hate #5, $2.99
Nextwave Agents Of Hate Crayon Butchery Var #5, AR
Powers #18, $2.95
She-Hulk 2 #8, $2.99
Spider-Man Black Cat Evil That Men Do Marvel Premiere HC, $19.99
I'm happy to see BLACK WIDOW 2 finally coming out. Enjoyed the first series a great deal. Looking forward to Sean Phillips' art in the second one.
DAREDEVIL is a given.
F4 will be a flip test, but is doubtful just because it's such a busy week.
NEXTWAVE is a no-brainer, though I don't think I'll be picking up the coloring book.
I'm looking forward to what PREVIEWS has in store, despite my recent misgivings on the series.
SHE-HULK is always cool.
And I like the Dodsons art, and don't hate Kevin Smith's writing. That's enough to give the much-laughed-at Spidey/Black Cat book a try.

My shop had sold out of DUCKTALES by the time I got there. Thankfully, mine was pre-ordered and filed away from me. It sound like they'll be ordering more for next week. Yay! GO DUCKS!
THE COMICS JOURNAL didn't show up in this week's order, but hopefully will arrive for next week. ::sigh::
No FOLLOWING CEREBUS, either.
Didn't pick up the LEGION trade.
I skipped 52 #3 and the F4 special, too.
