What a fun idea!

I'm not one for buying varient editions of comics I already get, but this contest just gave me a reason to.

I already envision Dirk Anger in a lot of pink polka-dots. Wheeeeee!

I love this idea. Marvel should do something like this with one of their Adventures or Franklin books. - for actual kids.

I so agree. I started giving my old comic away (duplicates and such) to the little kids who play in the court I live in. They love to read them. Its too bad new comics are too expensive for them to afford, and its too bad that there are not more self contained stories, so kids don't have to have the issues in order (like Fell, except that book isn't for kids).

Jonah,
Who are the judges of this Contest?? Just kinda curious. :DThe CBR News Staff and I'll be leaning on some of Marvel's marketing department as well. We'll sift through the entries and pick the most creative ones out of the bunch.

I really can't wait to see what you guys all come up with! This should be a lot of fun.

I got my copy today (the last one in the store). I'm trying to decide which pages to color.

Can we enter with more than one page?

How lame is it that my LCS charged extra for this book, thus completely missing the point and joke?

charged EXTRA? My store was charging 2.25 for each copy.

That's so lame.

Hello!
Being curious:
All entries must be received by July 7th at Noon Pacific and the winner will be announced shortly there after.
It's about time, isn't it? (though I just read that I should have entered my phone# with my entry, so I may not be qualified  )

I'm not involved in the promotion, and Jonah probably hasn't seen this thread.

You'd probably have better luck e-mailing him.
