Skull The Slayer?

I remember collecting all 8 issues of his run back in the mid-70's. He fascinated me as he was a former Viet-Nam Vet, who went on to gain super powers from a belt he wore which (as I recall) was taken off a dead alien. The series also had something to do with The Bermuda Triangle....can't recall much about it and sold my Skull comics a long time ago.

Where is he now?

I believe he showed up in the first arc of Nicieza's Hawkeye series looking for a Cambodian shrine that contained a piece of the true cross or something like that. I've haven't read those issues since they first came out, but I believe that he was wounded but managed to sneak off. Not exactly sure of the specifics, though.

he later became the new Blazing Skull.Not for long (and just to clarify that was before the recent Hawkeye series). He's now referred to as Scully.
