I'm just asking because I subscripe to the series and will be starting on issue #4, but I see the reviews on the threads so I'm asking for you, the fans, opinion.
So is it a good series to start with or not because if I quited now something big will happen in the series that I'll miss ? :(
How far do you think that the series will progress over the next few months ?

I like this series. I've been saying that if you liked Bendis' Alias and The Pulse, you'll like Ms. Marvel. The first issue was so much better than I ever expected. Current arc is going well. If you're starting on #4, I'd say track down the first 3 issues at your LCS. It'll be worth it, and I think they're all still cover price.

I enjoy the series quite a bit. You should be able to get the first 3 issues pretty easily at your local comic shop, eBay, or an online vendor. Good stuff so far.

While the title has made me a huge fan of the character,I'm thinking of dropping it.The book is alright, but at the same time it's not crappy. There's just not enough to sink my teeth into 3 issues in.

For me, it's a B-/C+ book so far. It's fun enough. Issue #1 had some good dialogue in it. Issues #2 & #3 didn't do much for me though. I like the character. I like the patter. But the scenarios and what's been done so far make is a slight above average book for me thus far.

It's no great shakes, but I've found it to be an enjoyable book with plenty of energy to it and a protagonist with an interesting goal in mind. If you're looking for something that's just fun, you could certainly do worse.

The character is good, but the book itself is boring...a weak motivation, mediocre action so far, a first-arc villain that had no personality or well-conceived backstory/motive, so-so art and really nothing that hooks me in a powerful way.
Just my 2 cents.

you should read it until October then switch over to Irredeemable Ant-Man.
The first story arc is dissappointing because the writer made one big mistake: Carol's mind is resistant to telepathy. The Brood would have made better villains than the Cru Predator rip-off...

I dropped it with #3. Pretty un-involving. Comics are too expensive to support mediocre titles.

her villains suck. she needs new ones or revamped old ones, at least.

I wish Deathbird comes back, but meaner, more vicious and more dangerous.
I always felt she could've been Carol's premiere villain.

I agree this book is reading more like a c list character. Plus I also think they have guest star itis after just 3 issues. Ms. Marvel should take on some more mainstream villains first before bringing in nobodies. I'm not liking this whole on a tv show storyline. I think She Hulk could pull it off better. If you want a good book try She Hulk out. I can't see how Ms. Marvel can prove herself battling lame o villains.

Generic is the word I would use for it.
But the art is great!

Same here.
I'm enjoying the lighthearted tone as well.

Thanks for the aid so far, but I think I'll stick with my beliefs for now and give the title a chance to shape up.
I'm also subscribe to Wolverine, who is aganist the SHR act while Carol is for it.
So fair enough for an equal balance in my eyes. :D
Oh and I just learned that I'll be starting with Issue #3 not #4.
I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused. :(
