I'm currently in search of the entire Power Pack series from the 80's, and i was wondering exactly which issue did Tattletale join? You know, Franklin Richards. I just loved this series growing up, and Marvel really pushed for them to be in practically everything after they first appeared.

According to the Marvel Chronology Project (http://www.chronologyproject.com/r.htm) his first appearance in Power Pack was #15, though I don't know if he officially joined their team in that issue.

I don't know when exactly he got the costume and the alias, but he appeared in POWER PACK #15-20, 22-28, 33-34, 36, 48-25, 54, 56-62.
Thank you, Marvel Chronology Project (http://www.chronologyproject.com/index.htm).
EDIT: Dang it!

They also had a helluva guest star list after they first appeared, Spidey, Cloak and Dagger, Marrina from Alpha Flight, Kitty and Nightcrawler all in the first year.

He first became Tattletale in Power Pack (vol.1) #17.

Yeah, but it might speak to the Manga Fans in a big ole Black & White compilation. :)

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie.
I was 10 when issue #1 came out. I loved that book. Still have the first 30 or so issues in my attic back home.
Crap. Now I wish they were here. I wanna read 'em again. It's been awhile.

Well, unless you're reading the current POWER PACK Miniseries (and yes, their continuity is slightly different than their original series, being that the Minis are more aimed at the younger generation); I suggest to keep your eyes open on CIVIL WAR (and their Tie-Ins), since the SRA will affect everybody with powers.......

Which I did a while back.
One of the coolest moments of my trip to WWPhilly last year was getting to meet Louise Simonson and getting my Power Pack #1 signed. She was just damn cool!

I was 4, but easily got the back issues. I have 1-33(minus 11), and am currently trying to get the rest, along with the Cloak and Dagger series from the 80's.

That's their story I'm most familiar with, aside from appearances in Thor and X-Men.
And what a great story it was, it shows that you can write a story with children in the Marvel Universe and make it compelling and moving even for an adult.
Louise Simonson, like Ann Nocenti, played an important role in shaping the Marvel Universe in the 80s. I think that kind of sensitivity and subtlety of approach has been missing ever since, and it's no accident that today there's not that many women reading Marvel comics, or writing them, for that matter.

And they also helped by diverting the course of Apocalypse's crashing Ship in X-Factor. :)
I've got to buy Louise Simonson's issues of Power Pack soon...

I started picking up Power Pack back issues on a lark, and now I love 'em. They're not high art, but they always give ya a smile.
Unless you hate kids. Then they make your sick, twisted heart curdle. :)

lol. I found this to be one of the highlights of Marvel 80's comics, and that's saying alot, as most of the Marvel titles we're excellent in this time.

Nope, I have about 10 issues of Power Pack, but not the first 25 or so.

Man, Power Pack brings back memories. I had the entire first run, and was even a Marvel subscriber at one point, getting Web of Spider-Man and Power pack in the mail.
Good times.
I later traded my run for some key Batman books, but I have to tell you, I regret it to this day.

Wow, you learn something new everyday. I personally love all the issues of PP, and I'm thinking about submitting a pitch to marvel myself.

The entire run was good until the end when they were drawn like bodybuilder midgets. Could have done without them (usually katie) saying "but Whitey died to give us our powers" every single issue though.
I would love to see the first story arc as a movie. Wasn't there a tv series made or at least in production in Canada at one point?

There was a pilot made, but it was never aired IIRC.
