A really small week.
52 Week #2
Haven't got #1 yet.
Aquaman, Sword of Atlantis #42
Read #40, and felt a touch lost. Listened to the Word Balloon podcast with Busiek, read #40 and 41 together, and now I am really into this series.
Robin #150
I didn't pre-order, because I wasn't sure how much I'd like the OYL direction. I liked the first two issues, so I'll try and track this one down.
Fell #5
Woo-hoo!
Retro Rocket #2
#1 was simple, but very enjoyable.
Rex Mundi #18
So happy this is going to Dark Horse.
Annihilation: Nova #2
#1 was really good.
Captain America #18
Brubaker!
Captain America: Winter Soldier vol. 2 HC
I'm going to have to re-order a second because I now have my brohter hooked.
Moon Knight #2
Like Augie, I'm going to switch to trade after this. I'm confident that Marvel will collect it, but I wanted to see the first two issues first.
Ms. Marvel #3
Pre-ordered. I liked #1 and 2, but wasn't crazy about them. Maybe I'll get the trade.
Bear vol. 2: Demons TP
Dark, stabby thoughts printed in humorous fashion! Yay!!!
Castle Waiting HC
Because I love the trade and I'm a sucker for hardcovers.

Blade of the Immortal
See, this is why I refuse to finish reading my Usagi Yojimbo trades. I quite unexpectedly fell in love with this series and now waiting for the next trade after weeks of straight reading is killing me.
100 Bullets
"Decayed"? I like it. It bugs me that vol. 3 & 8 break the word play pattern.
Bomb Queen
Don't honestly remember why I didn't pre-order the issues, but I will be getting the trade.

That's what I like to hear! Podcasts influencing buying decisions and enjoyment of titles. Whoo-hoo! Go Team Comics Podcasters!
I was listening to the Axel Alonso interview on the way into work this morning.
100 Bullets
"Decayed"? I like it. It bugs me that vol. 3 & 8 break the word play pattern.
We need to get you to the casino. There's a saying, "eight the hard way," referring to rolling the dice and coming up with two fours. That's eight the hard way in craps. Ergo, volume 8 becomes "the hard way."

I can't explain the third volume's title, though.

For various reasons, I didn't make it out to the comics shop yet this week. I'm heading over after lunch today. Yay. Here's my list:
DARK HORSE
Conan Vol 3 Tower Of The Elephant & Stories HC, $24.95
I was going to buy this, but I haven't even opened the second volume yet. I think I'll let it sit for a while and see if I can can get excited about reading the first two books before launching into the third.
DC COMICS
52 Week #2, $2.50
All Star Batman And Robin The Boy Wonder #4 (resolicited), $2.99
Aquaman Sword Of Atlantis #42, $2.99
I still haven't read 52 #1. Have a tough time getting excited for it right now. We'll see. BATMAN is really late, but it's a shot of pure eye candy, so I'm in. AQUAMAN -- if DC had premiere edition hardcovers, I'd be waiting for one of those. But DC's trades tend to be of lesser print quality than the monthly issues, so I'll stick with the monthly here.
GEMSTONE PUBLISHING
Walt Disneys Vacation Parade #3, $8.95
MARVEL COMICS
Captain America Winter Soldier Vol 2 Premiere HC, $19.99
You know it's a slow week when I only have one Marvel book on my shopping list. What can I say? I'm waiting for collections these days. . .
magazines
Back Issue #16, $6.95
Wheee!

As soon as I read that, I smacked myself on the forehead. Don't know why I didn't make the connection. Duh.
I can't explain the third volume's title, though.
-Augie
I can! I can! It's called winning an Eisner Award.
Seriously, it is the only thing I can think of. It won the Eisner for Best Story and DC probably didn't want to chance "hiding" it by giving the trade a different name.
