I noticed in the august listing of DC comics that there was the Batman Strikes title. Never noticed it before but seemed to be out for a while since #24 was listed. Question about it though.

At first I didn't like The Batman show, so used to the Timm universe version, but it grew on me. Though I always miss the show when it comes on. Is the Batman Strikes comic an adaption of the TV show? Is each issue episodic? Or is the title similar to the other Batman titles in that there are story arcs and continuity of it's own, sperate or similar to the TV show?

How has it been so far? Sales?

Thanks.

Yeah its the same as the cartoon and its not bad...if you like the show you should like it....I get and better than most bats books. that being said I still enjoy Timm universe the best.

This comic is in my pulls because my son likes it, but this show has been a favorite of mine from the start. I dunno, I guess I like the fact that its opening a door for the next generation to sort of get onboard with the Bat. Maybe the continuity is a little screwy but we all should tip our hats to Jeff Matsuda's designs, he's awesome....since he's bringing Batman to today's kids, he's doing as much for the Bat-mythos as Denny O'Neill or Neal Adams or Jim Aparo in my book....
